    I went to MOCAT and I spent some good money but it was really worth it. And now 3 months in my deployment I have made tremendous progress. I stay late for free basically. I study on my minimum off time. My Coustomer service is awesome. I’m still in the curve but I’m convinced that I have what it takes to be a successful Adjuster.

    Does anyone have VAS training and would you recommend it? I'm looking for the best possible training course to be prepared.

    I'm a desk adjuster with experience mostly in symbility/guidewire, would I be starting like a beginner if I moved to field IA?

  • @davefromthe80s.davidcalder14

    On one of your videos you mentioned adjusters sitting by the phone. Was that for cat or for everything including automotive?

    Spending some money on training seems reasonable, but when I search websites like Indeed and ZipRecruiter only a handful of property adjusting positions pop up and the ones that do require at least three years of experience.
    Am I looking in the wrong place? Also, is it too late in the season to begin?
    I have a B.S. (Insurance Major) and an ARM designation, but I haven't used either for over 20 years. My wife and I are ready to make this jump together, but we'll need to get our foot in the door somewhere this year to make it work. Any thoughts are appreciated.

      I don't think that the major career sites offer an accurate representation of IA claims. Start here: adjustertv.com/road-to-the-storm-claims-adjuster-guide
      I cover all the things, who to call, what licenses, etc.
      Not too late in the season!

      @AdjusterTV Thanks, Matt. My wife and I were actively discussing this when your reply came in. Your input is genuinely appreciated.
      I know there aren't any guarantees in life, but if the opportunity is there I think we're going to take the plunge go for it. Again, thanks.

    Would I be able to get a job without a degree? When I search adjuster jobs on indeed,etc. I see that most want a college degree and experience. Thank you.

      Nope. Just a high school diploma, some licenses, and some adjuster training at adjustertvplus.com

    What is work opportunities like from august to February

    • @AdjusterTV
      @AdjusterTV  Před rokem

      For catastrophe work, it's a lot quieter during that time of the year, but things still happen. If you do daily work there's no season.

    Great info but a lot of rambling. Talking for minutes on how companies need workers. Get to the point please. Trying to learn. The guy sitting there is looking bored af

    So what happens if i end up screwing up on my first deployment does that mean my chances are basically over with ?

    • @AdjusterTV
      @AdjusterTV  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Depends on how you screwed up. Did you screw up by not answering your phone or calling people back? Did you screw up by not showing up for inspection appointments? Did you screw up by being rude to the insured? Did you screw up by not closing any claims?
      If you did the above you'll probably not be called back by the IA firm/carrier.
      But.... if you were just a newbie who was slow, then no. It's all a matter of sticking with it and having faith that you will eventually build up speed and quality and the industry understands that.
