Thanks for the overview of dust collection, I'm now going to do some mods to mine

Great dust collection review. Only note.. that’s a PwnCNC boot ;-)
We offer hardware packs as well as the maker files. This should help with sourcing all of the hardware needed.

Damn, I did say the wrong manufacturer. Good catch! I got your links in the description right at least! haha

I like the idea of 2.5" for the CNC. Is there a issue with using a DC(4") and reduce it down to 2.5" for the hose to the CNC?

Just make sure that you don't starve your DC. Might want to do a multi 2.5 with a blast gate on the other 2.5 that way you can adjust it infinitely.

    Nice. Thank you.
Can you provide a link to the 2.5 inch flex hose you're using?

What sort of dust collector are you using to replace the shop vac? I am getting ready to setup a shop vac system here, but wondering about potentially better options. I was thinking as much as we run the CNC it may go through that shop vac motor in no time.

Since I use a 2.5in hose I've been using a shop vac. But if I ever clean up my shed and finish it out I'll move my machine up there and use my dust collector.

Nice. Where can you find that bit holder on your router?

I designed it and will post it soon. I'm going to alter it and put the bits up top since it can interfere with the +Y rail currently. I'll let you know as soon as I'm done! Thanks for the comment!
