- I've been running my CNC for 3 years now, so that gives me a huge sample size and allows me to form my opinions and give an informative review on this machine!

Great review. I have had my Onefinity about the same as you and I agree with your assessment 100%. Above all, GO BLUE!!
You said it! These machines are great
@@paulsmessyworkshop Definitely Blue
Go Blue! Fellow Michigander here and Onefinity owner. I have had mine for about 1.5years and love it. I enjoy your videos, keep up the great work!
Yes - Go Blue! So you’re the one who enjoys my videos!! Hahah. Have you had any trouble with the colder winter weather and your machine?
@@SJSSawdust no, I have mine in a 2 car garage that I insulated pretty well. I have a small heater that keeps at around 40-45 or so. If I plan on working out there then I turn on the propane heater for about 30 minutes prior to going out.
@@SJSSawdust have you had problems with the colder weather?
@@dewaynethole769 I’m so jealous. I need to just man up and insulate mine this summer…. There’s just so much to move out.
Thanks for the updated review. I can't wait to be able to afford my onefinity. Hopefully soon.
You will love it! I just looked at the site and there’s 3 different series now, which one you going to go with?
@@SJSSawdust The pro series, I'm undecided between the woodworker and journeyman. I'd love to have the journeyman in my shop but I'd have to do a fair bit of rearranging to fit things in there.
Keep it up, your channel is one I've been following for a long time now.
@@NWGR You can’t go wrong with the bigger machine, and if you add on the laser module, that’s easily the biggest diode on the market. I’ve rearranged the shop monthly to help improve workflow, my wife always rolls her eyes when I tell her that “I’ve finally got it!” And thanks for watching for so long, I really appreciate it !
@@SJSSawdust That's what I'm really leaning towards since the price difference is only a few hundred $$. I'm not sold on a laser in my shop yet, but I have looked into it a bit.
Great info and I feel the same about my Onefinity X-50 Journeyman that I've had for about 2 years now. Regarding drag chains, the current Pro and Elite series now come with factory drag chains. The older and current X-35/X-50 do not come with drag chains. As you said, those are optional purchases through the Onefinity site. My X-50 Journeyman did not come with drag chains, so I ordered them from Amazon, then never installed them.
Ahh. Ok. Thanks for the info. It’s a hell of a machine!
I'm so thankful to have found your channel, Subbed!. My first video was on your tips you learned before the craft show you went to with all those trays, then this one 3 years later. What gold!! I have a question I didn't hear covered in this video, the software. I recently learned that Carbide Create Pro added vcarve capability to make those insane 3d cutting boards (inlays) and was wondering if you think it would be compatible with the OneFinity?
@@congruewoodworks1474 thanks so much! As far as software goes, I think as long as you can create g-code, the Onefinity can read it. I started off using Easel, and now I use VCarve
Thanks for great video! I really need to use my onefinity more. At any rate go get yourself one of these: Dell P2314TT 23" Touch Screen LED Monitor. It's a huge upgrade to the one they include.
I will DEFINITELY look that up - thanks! And YES, use your Onefinity more . I find myself cutting stuff that I don’t really even need, I just want to use it. Lol
@@SJSSawdust My problem is very similar to yours and that it's in my garage and Midwest winters are not my friend lol. That and I have a bunch of lasers that I've been using a ton so they've kind of pulled me away lately. 😉
@@misury that’s awesome. What do you have? I have the x tool d1, just recently attached the rotary, so that’s been fun to mess around with
@@SJSSawdust I have the Xtool P2, the Xtool F1, a creality falcon 10 watt and then the 14 watt on my onefinity woodworker. Then of course to complete the makerspace I have bambu X1 carbon. I might have a problem. 🤣
@@misury doesn’t sound like a problem to me! I was eyeing the F1 ( still am) and I would love a 3D printer. There’s so many great creators out there that make awesome files for the printers - stuff that can be used in the workshop… seems kinda dumb NOT to get one….
Also, for good or bad, menu remind me of Mark Ruffalo with your voice. 😀
Haha. Thanks - I’ll assume that’s good
Love the video...and all the Detroit/Michigan/Lions things in this one...(I live in Clarkston)...getting ready to retire soon and am starting to look into the OneFinity...
Thanks! Retiring soon…. I’m jealous! You have to get a CNC, and the Onefinity is great
Good info. What machine model is this? Do you have the 50mm or 35mm rails? Do you use the onefinity controller?
Thx a bunch
Jeff
@@jeffdeluca1153 Thanks. This is the original journeyman model ( 32” x 32” ) and, yes I use the wireless Onefinity controller - it works perfectly well.
Good job
Thank you buddy
