- Showing you an advanced pc setting that gave me by far the HIGHEST frame increase I've ever gotten from just one setting. I also go over a few windows settings, and another hidden setting you might have set wrong. These tips will work on Warzone when it releases in a few days.

I changed worker render to 12 to match my threads, instead of 6...and lost 8% performance... Also jumped up the VRAM setting to 2.0 and it didn't change anything for me... Intel 12400 cpu and 6900xt gpu... Tried them separately and together and neither helped.
in the config, look for Velocity based blur ort something along those lines. change it to false and it will make the game have less blur when moving. because motion blur off was not good enough for them lol.

i use 0 or -1 for thread count to fix my desync and speed up my gameplay my graphics card can handle most of the game sbmm doesnt seem to have any effect on my gameplay now i use islc on windows for better system latency and iu setup a minidump for applications on windows the acdvanced system properties also disabled useless and unused devices in device manager nice video dude
I have a 3090 and an I10900k and it actually gave me less fps on warzone. I was at anywhere from 150-200 and now I’m at 130-180 if that

Almost all new games are forced windowed mode even if it says in game "full screen exclusive". DX12 games are all technically in a windowed mode so "optimizations for windowed games" should always be enabled!

Render worker count I always set -2 of cores and for amd I set it to the amount of cores.
Another thing to try is turning the resize bar option in the config under Graphics to “false”, only if you’re on Intel, at least for now. It dramatically helps your 1% lows. Resize bar is supposed to help performance but it doesn’t currently on Intel machines. Your average fps will drop but your lows should jump way up. Mine went from 280 avg/130 1% low to 250 avg/180 1% low ✌️❤️

not just intel this works on my amd rig, if i look at the center of map with rebar on it drops to 90 -100fps with it off im hitting 200-230 looking at the same spot
Are you referring to GPUUploadHeaps:0.0 = 'true' to turn that to 'false'

But using 90 percent gpu makes sense though. wouldnt setting this to 100 percent make it unstable?

Increasing the video memory scale doesn't do anything unless you have settings maxed out and need the vram to hold all the textures, etc. This setting will definitely give you better results for a maxed out benchmark though

What about VirtualTexturingMemoryMode? Large or Extra Large? Does this matter when raising VRAM to 2.0 for optimal results?
In Warzone I changed it to small but I haven't changed it yet in MW3, it's still at large by default. I definitely wouldn't go with extra large. From my understanding it relates to texture streaming quality and anisotropic filtering. The higher you go the more memory it uses so I would either leave it at default or go down to Med or Small so it doesn't use up as much memory. I did test it back in Verdansk and I didn't see much of a difference in FPS or Image Quality between the different choices.
i treid all of this, the windows settings to set the game to high performance resulted in a direct x error, every time I booted, my pc has a "let windows decide" option which it had it set to high performance anyway, which allows me to boot no problems. The config change made my results overall and GPU and CPU worse, so I tried a variation of fractions from 2.0 down 1.8 down 1.6 down 1.4 down down down until I was at 0.9 again and that was the best performance I got... I am running a 24 thread i9 HX-13900HX and a Mobile RTX 4080 which is a 12GB card. The BEST boost I got was from the onboard bios where I had the GPU overclock turned on BUT I looked into the settings and I was only boosted150MHZ with 200MHZ being available and clock speed was at 200MHZ boost where 400MHZ was available. I tried all of the settings you mentioned, with and with out these bios settings, nothing here improved my frame rate and nothing resolved the jitter which I see if due to packet burst in the first place. Being hard wired in, on a Gigabit line which I am getting 950ish MB download and 40ish MB upload speeds, I just dont get why I am having these issues...
Sadly thought, as a report back, as you asked in the video, none of these settings helped FPS improvement AT ALL for me...
set your worker count to the 8 p cores u have or 7, windows likes to own one. dont do threads you'll overload the cpu with threads.
set your vram target to 1.0-1.2 i tried 2.00000 on my 4080 laptop 12GB. the 2.0 setting prob good for desktop 24GB graphics card keeping it at exactly 80% on that much vram that's why streamers are liking that setting
download park control from bitsum (ppl that make process lasso) unpark cores and set short threads to 4 long threads to 1.
Process lasso change windows NT thread scheduling parameters to
short
give foreground threads a 3:1 boost
Set multimedia scheduler to games
Affinity 0(or3-11), 15 in your case
clock rate 10,000
gpu priority 8
priority 6

now all the game threads go to P cores and windows and other bs goes to the e cores without having to do anything

4.8-5.2ghz sustained load no C states in WZ3 no overheating or throttling e cores 4.1ghz
also took it apart and put LM on cpu/graphics card day 1 of purchase

Just a quick comment. I have two 'option.4.cod23' files. The edit is done in the 'options.4.cod23.cst' file. As to the thread count, I have a 24 thread CPU, with 12 cores and my setting in the file is 1 less than the core count for optimum performance from the game, so in my case '11'. Thank you for your time and efforts to share this with us all. Much appreciated. p.s. The '2.000000' gave me approximately 50 FPS increase overall on AMD 7900 XT, but I was seeing frame counts upto 243 after the edit. Thanks once again.

So you have 2 files do you delete one ? And keep the cst ? I got 2 also modified one is cst but still got the non modify one what I need to do
@@a2tila943 I saved both my files with file extensions of 'mod' and 'mod2' and restarted the game. Then edited the newly created file with the mods
to make sure I had the correct mods I wanted. Before I modded the 'new' file I save a copy with an extension of 'base' to make sure I could fall back if I needed to. I hope this helps.
Where do you find the threads
What I don't understand is (correct me if I'm wrong) but changing the VRAM usage has absolutely zero effect on gaining fps especially when you're not even anywhere close to the max vram target. This has to be just a glitch and has no actual meaning behind it.

If you increase vram (mhz of vram) it will process fps faster and will be more stable. In my opinion at least 32g of ram with the max mhz in the vram that your cpu can handle

Hello the video is amazing man fps has gone right up I am running i7 with NVIDIA 4060 multiplayer and zombies run amazing but warzone my texture takes like a full minute to load in do you know what this could be down to ?

apparently you get more fps by making the cpu count 1 less than you actually have. so if you have a 6 core, make it 5. ive seen this info multiple times, so try it out.
I heard that too, I also heard unchecking CPU 0 makes the game run better. I'm going to test it on Wed when Warzone switches over.

6000 series cards don’t have hardware acceleration only 7000 series
im on a 7900xt and changing render from 8 cores to 16 threads decreased performance by like 30 percent and causes a cpu bottleneck. along with the 2.00000 thing
Set render core to actually physical cores -1, so if you have 8 performance cores, change render core count to 7.
Vrm scaling if set to high you will get instability and fps drops, try 1.4 or below.

If you're on Battlenet, the cod file should be in documents > players
In theory this should be bad (since the game intends to leave some extra vram and threads for background tasks), but we all know things never make any sense, so if it works, than it works

This only works if you have a high end PC that is being throttled by settings, nothing else. If you think your mid end machine is going to benefit, you're wrong

My friend I play with has a 2070 and changing the memory setting to 2.0 gave him a noticeable frame increase. He keeps all of his graphic settings on low for the most part.

Dynamic resolution to 138 (144hz monitor)
Multiplayer constantly 138fps no drops
Warzone 110-138 depending if I hot drop
I'm sure these settings will work great for 1440p
This is all setup with gsync that's the reason for 138fps it's what reflex boost in the driver caps it at for vsync smoothness with no input lag

Not 100% sure what your running but the set target fraction to 2.000000 is 100% crashing my game. Didn't know what step was crashing me so did each one individually and that one crashed me every time.

Excuse my ignorance, but where should the highest bottleneck percentage be? in the gpu or in the cpu?
Its the weakest part so if your cpu is old and gpu is new then its your cpu and if your gpu is old and cpu is new most likely gpu but make sure your motherboard is also updated.

There is no absolute answer for this question but in general for gaming a higher gpu bottleneck % is preferred.
Keep in mind this is without knowing your gaming setup and what you are trying to achieve (high graphics quality or high frames), and assuming it’s for gpu heavy games like CoD, and depending on how optimized your system and game settings are.
I also have i9 and 4080 and was get 210 max using Nvidia image scaling. I switched to 1440p and was well over 300.

you should be getting a little more
Just turn off resizeable bar support in your config cst files, that limits your cpu. Turn that off, turn on dlss and you’ll be over 200 fps

Why is your render worker count set to 15 if you have a 12 core cpu, try setting it 1 below that your cpu has = 11

Anyone notice their optics like ghosting in this game as their shooting? Mine does with certain optics at certain times and it’s super annoying. Is this because of a performance issue or is this their way of having visual recoil??
I haven’t noticed this myself but if you have DLSS or FSR turned on that could be why

I noticed I had some ghosting the other day but it ended up being my refresh rate dropped in my Nvidia graphics card setting down to 144hz from 280hz for some reason. In game it was still set to 280 and was causing a ton of ghosting because of the response time being off. I had to reset my pc and change both my Nvidia and windows display settings refresh rate back up to 280hz, after that it went back to normal.
@@KickRocksGamingChannel hmmmm I did notice that my refresh rate in COD settings is 144hz with mw3 and my monitor is 165hz. COD changed this in their settings when mw3 integrated. I can’t seem to change it to 165hz tho it’s seems to be locked to 144 in my game. Could this be the problem?

Packet burst and lag is 100% related to internet connection. Test your internet connection.

Unfortunately, these tips do not work for Intel i7-11700K and an RTX 3060.
dontr use efficiency cores they slow down your cpu then it has to speed back up which takes time causing you to get instamelted disable efficiency cores in bios then set your fraction to 12 ytou will get more fps from that too e cores are bad im a windows power user btw hags works better on in mw3 but off in mw2 for anyone wondering why mw3 feels better than mw2 this is it hags makes mw2 feel like slow motion

No fucken way I’ve been putting renderer worker count at 8 for the amount of cores I have this whole time. No fucken way , heard somebody say it could be thread count but so many people said it was code count so Just went with it , crazy. Also never seen anyone mention to put vram in there at 2.00000 , appreciate you
I've already tested this multiple times. Setting it to the exact core count (for ryzen) gives the best fps, not -1 or whatever your thread count is.

Its weird how it works for some people and some people it don't. I keep most of my graphics settings pretty low, I don't know if that has an effect it or not because of the VRam usage. One thing I noticed tho is sometimes it doesn't save after I change it so that might be happening for some people.
