@FourEyesGames please do a video on how to stop getting kicked out of ranked play matches for no reason on battlnet. I get a you have abandond your previous match and it has taken over 1500sr from me it has kicked me over 20 times for just playing and doing nothing wrong. Its extremely frustrating and it happens to a lot of people. I have wired connection and its great it just seems like it happens after every big update even if i do a scan and repair. i have tried following all youtube videos and cannot fix it. the screen just goes black when im about to win and kicks me out you can imagine how annoying that is. I cant play my favorite game. Idk if its just the game, but its been happening since the old one. ill be on a winstreak and randomly disconnect out. The internet doesnt go out it just disconnects from battlenet whenever it decides and i bought faster speed better internet nothing has a problem besides this game. I dont think its my connection. I checked the event viewer only thing i found was an error with dcom. I run nothing in the background and literally deleted almost everything besides battlenet and the game and the necessary stuff
thank you bro i have did every thing it helped me great bro !!!!
Thanks
Hi Guys for Battlenet users it's in the > retail folder >cod23 folder>shadercache folder
Life Saver. Thank you 😊
What do you mean it's in the What? What is in the What lol
Thank you
Can you explain better how to access "Retail Folder " pls
@@BanozzTv Step 1. Access your Local Disk C. drive, Step 2. locate Program Files x86 folder. Step 3. You should see your Call of Duty folder , open it Step 4. Open the _retail_ file folder. Step 5. Open cod23 file folder. Step 6. You will see the shadercache folder. Then follow the rest of the steps that FourEyes explains,
Great video, I saw a major difference in clarity and Performance. @FourEyes. And thanks to @nevillemillward4616 for telling us Battlenet users where to find it.
in battlenet the shadercach folder is in the C\Program File (*86)\Call of Duty\_retail_\cod23\shadercach
Thanks for the great video Sir..
I love you!! Was gonna Gpt it but you came in clutch!! Btw its sometimes called 'Main' too. Well Mine was.
thanks dude :)
perfect, thanks!
perfect bro.. thanks
Love when people help in the comments 🍄🍄🍄
Battlenet easiest way is right click on gear next to play game and choose show in explorer then choose retail and then COD23.
Thanks a lot
Amazing explanation
@FourEyes hey your last video on that mouse settings changed my game drastically. I could not believe how much that changed my accuracy thank you
Been watching videos for the last hour. Yours is the only one that actually got my FPS from 80ish to 120-130. Appreciate you
@FourEyes Next to play in Battlenet you open settings and click on show in explorer there is your files for Battlenet.
Honest to god love the settings so far. went into this with more than a bit of skepticism but thoroughly impressed
battle net location is: settings icon, options, use a different folder, call of duty, retail, cod23, shadercache
thank you so much bro you make it so understandable and so short at the same time thanks man. keep up the good work
Bro thank you so much for this video. It was very helpful. I just started playing this game on my new laptop and its very smooth now😃👌
crazy! was just looking at your old vid cause I just refreshed my pc.
hello everyone can somone pls help me becas i can't do anything with thih lights in warzone when i start to play everythig is white and i don't see anything pls someone help me!!!
Way way better thank you 😮 I hate not being smart used to having a system not a gaming laptop thank you it truly helped
You should absolutely change your color settings 1:05 Make sure you're at the highest bit rate your display supports and you're at the correct RGB range and output. Pretty much all monitors should be RGB @ Full Range. You obviously want the widest color gamut your display supports. This is something you visually notice.
Thx for the video, done it,
when I re launch the game, it take 10-15min for new shaders, but in firing range, we can see the difference, game is a little bit better to watch , and probably to play
For FPS didn't try yet, but I trust you, ALL of your advices even for yaw option in last video who are weird cause I think it's like weird things players shouldn't know about work , so thx again :)
Bro keep them coming love ur content
Phenomenal video also btw. Brand new to pc gaming and ohhhh my it’s easy to get overwhelmed. I use to be fairly decent on a pc in general but been so long it feels brand new. Especially in terms of gaming, settings etc 😂
thank you a lot for this video it changes the game
lmao my game was doing the green and red flashes till u explained it at the end !!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
15:59 settings wheel option right next to the blue play tab for warzone on battlenet app - show in explorer - retail - cod23 - shadercache
Gsync turned on+Vsync turned on in nvidia control panel (turned off in game)+reflex turned on in game has shown best latency results in many tests.
The tests are considering using a “sync technology” in any form or configuration. Not comparable to not using any kind because there is way more latency when using
Thanks man just followed you step by step hope my game looks better now
Trun off all sync modes on monitor
where and how@@Vg.j09
thank you so much man
Thank you for the video but I have few questions: 1) are these settings changing when Nvidia driver is automatically updated? 2) Because my PC is not very strong, I normally use to set in the GEFORCE EXPERIENCE app, using custom settings, not to the optimal they recommend, but lowering the quality for better performance (about 4 clicks down from the optimal recommended) - do I do right? does it conflict with the settings you recommended? should I not use the GEFORCE EXPERIENCE app to lower the quality as I just described?
Love these videos, so good. Thank you.
Thank you sooo much~
great work . appreciated
actual legend, fr
Thank you :)
Worked great for me but I didn’t do the reg edit portion as that crashed my system. I did a windows reset and adjusted the control panel settings and now my game runs buttery smooth. Thank you! Not sure what’s up the reg edit with my system, it didn’t like it.
Cuz of you my game gone so real~❤
Please do one with battle net
thanks man
Instead of clearing the "shader cache" file, can't we simply restart the shader's optimisation in- game ? I suppose it's the same process, isn't it ? Thanks for the tips btw
the shadercach folder in battle net is in C\Program File (*86)\Call of Duty\_retail_\cod23\shadercach
For battle net i right clicked the desktop shortcut, opened file location, clicked the battle net folder, clicked the cod 23 folder then the shader cache is there
Thanks
@Foureyes do you have a setting for amd?
but which ins technology should i use with all those settings ? i did all the steps and the game looks to sharp like i have a lot of white points mixed on the view of the game
Press option near Play button next show in explorer, _retail_ cod23 and the last shadercache
Wait , so if you're not using gsync and you set your monitor technology to fixed refresh , that must mean you still have adaptive sync still on in the monitor settings ? , cos i thought if not using gsync then turn off both monitor and nvcp ? or doesnt that matter , i'm confusion ?!?! 🤔🤔
Muchas gracias por tus videos.
What would be the best in game menu graphics setting??
At the main menu my screen is flashing black. How do I fix this?
what about global settings? should i change any of those like shader cache size??
Brilliant explanation. thank you!
On battlenet you just hit the cog wheel for settings then shoe in explorer, open the retail folder, and the cod23 file is right there
nah bro my fps went straight down, thanks for that
what nvidia driver do you recommend for 4090?
i went to the folder and opened cod 23 and shader what ever nothing popped up nothing to be deleted should i be worried?
Nice video as always. For Battlenet the path is Installed Drive:\Call of Duty\_retail_\cod23\shadercache but what do you recon running g-sync on or off if compatible monitor or does it have any difference?
Thanks sooo Much !!
mi gpu is : rtx 3060
cpu : ryzen 5 1600
FPS in game 120 / 80HZ
Hi bro, u know if frame generation on rtx graphics card can cause input lag?
how much your monitor brightness and contrast?
Hello, why do you choose fixed update and not g-syng technology? Look, I can ask you a question, I have a 144hz monitor, and my PC is an i5 12400 RTX 3070 16 with 3600 ram (working at 3200) with HDMI I can't get it to run smoothly and without stuttering, I don't know what else to do. , with a display port that is half damaged but is still alive when I activate the g-syng it only sticks at 138 and looks fluid without stutering, but I want to use the HDMI and not have a stuttering problem, would you help me configure it please? Because I don't know what else to do, and I installed Windows from scratch and this problem persists, they told me to activate v-syng with HDMI, but it has input lag, I don't really know what to do
What about "shader cache size"? I see alot of different answers for this and i never know what to set it to, its in the Nvidia control panel (global settings)
@FourEyes love the settings mate how about the new update with nvidia app :)
I didnt have nothing on my shadercache folder i opened cod and does those flashing lights on my screen what can i do there?
I don’t have preferred refresh rate. Would anyone be able to tell me why?
weird but my shadercache folder was already empty and my game keep flashing now.. don't know what to do!
this vid help a lot. thanks but i had to use Nvidia DLSS or i get under 100 fps with CAS
can anyone help me when i turned on the image sharpness setting on is like on the corners there suddenly rainbow colours and my game satrdet to lag. When i turned it off it was suddenly away the rainbow colurs but i want it sharp.
I keep getting this render bug that lets me see through buildings. lots of things render poorly. i dont know what to do about it.
when i done the registry editor part it still said image scaling what should i do?
At low detail I now have green polygons instead of grass and this is not removed by anything, even by turning the setting back. it is especially noticeable on the map wasteland
Same
I just looked up the folder in my file manager. Steps: Local Disk > Call of Duty > _retail_ > cod23 > Shadercache
My shaders are stuck at preloading 0
Yo bro could you do a video on how to lower ram and Vram usage on mw3 or all games in general and how to lower CPU and GPU to the same level. Guaranteed views as well there's a lot off people who are struggling with the same issue i really want that buttery smooth game play. Cant lie I'm a sweat on cod but sometimes stuttering gets in the way I'm gonna try sort it out first before buying more ram and a proper motherboard. Honestly if u could do that video it would be much appreciated
Four eyes I try to open Warzone but it says Crash Handler Can u help me?
I just called in game reshade compilation insted of deleting the files and mannnn thing got reallly crazy. all shorts of lights. Just deleted the folder archiver and ot was ok
I am getting a lighting glitch whenever I use your settings HELP!!!
In battlenet the folder is in the same place you showed in the video
Somehow this added like 7% to my average fps now I'm around 120-144 consistently
For battle net it will be in the _retail_ folder
what about the shader cache size in GLOBAL setting?
all my level is gone and my gun levels are on 0 what should I do now?
My game is super pixelated and messed up. How do I revert this?
amd fsr 3.0 video coming soon?
How do I lower my CPU usage? It’s so high when I be streaming causing stutter. Anyone else having this issue?
what about the in game video settings?
WELL I CANT PLAY MY GAME. i done what he did and my pc smells like is bruning? my game if flashing and i cant seem to fix it i went back to undo what he did and make it worse. i need help i cant play my game
I now these videos are good but all them seem to help boost Fps if you are on a bad GPU, what about a bad cpu. Where I am cpus are super expensive, would love to see something where it's primary focus is reducing cpu latency.
Hey Four Eyes... I started getting Weird Blocks in my shadows on the ground and around characters as well as rainbow colored flares all over the map.. any help would be massively appreciated
Be sure to follow the step at the end to delete you shaders
Faster way to get to local files on Steam games:
Right click game > Hover over Manage option > Select "Browse Local Files".
Same thing as what you did, but in literally 2 clicks.
Does anyone know why the files I delete keep coming back? On Battlenet,
Battlenet Shader path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Call of Duty\_retail_\cod23
Additional note: allow shaders to complete before starting a game.
mouse player have you input lags ?
For Battlenet: C:\Program Files (x86)\Call of Duty\_retail_\cod23
I did all this and followed every step and still had colors and black blocks in my game.
Hey, turning off low Latency mode off from nvidia control panel reduced 20fps.. i turn on low Latency mode to ultra and in game Nvidia reflex to enable+ boost.
I got around 150-170fps..
If I turn of low latency mode, I get 120-130fps..
My specs are
3600x
2080 super
32gb ddr4 3600mhz ram
i need help. so my pc is a decent pc with a 3060 12 gb and a core i5 9th gen. with 165 hz monitor, and my warzone is running below 60 fps maybe goes above 65 but mostly around 49 .Supposdely my pc or cpu is bottlenecking . Ive upgraded this pc multiples times so i might understand but i wanna run warzone can u help?
3060 with an i5 is a big no no. You have to be running at least an i7 with any 30series or above
do i enable gpu scaling under sharpening? 1080ti. mine has a box to check, yours didnt
Leave that on default
@@GeniXDude ive noticed the check box only appears in your overall settings, not game specific. think that was my problem.
@@c0rpse1 You shouldn't do stuff with global settings it might cause problems in all the games your PC has
@@GeniXDude yea i didnt. when i wrote this comment, i think it was simply looking at the wrong page.
What’s the trick to get the color bug like these streamers get in the gulag where it brightens the enemy
Anyone else have their camos super blurry after doing this? On my other pc it’s fine but I didn’t do the sharpening step at the end
C -> Program files (x86) -> Call Of Duty -> _retail_ . There it is guys.
can you help me to fix hueneme error ?
My shaders are empty. Ran and closed the game and its still empty. Im also on battlenet
Someone help… i cleared cache after running the game and doing all settings changes but experiencing those weird flashing colors mid game when looking around… help!? What do I do???
listen to around 15:00 min mark, exactly what you missed the last and most important step ;)
I’m getting a lot of black blank squares in my display
