A CZcams shoutout!
Plus lots more in the pipeline!!
In addition to your coverage of specific incidents, these briefings are great too! They're very informative and they put a lot into proper perspective.
Finally, a useful application of statistics! 🤣 I wish someone would do a similar video for automobile accidents. All I have read is that most occur within four or five blocks of "home" because drivers relax their guard. I once backed up into another car right in front of my home!🤣😂
Omg this is super interesting 👀 please keep making more of these kinds of videos!! They're great
Great visualization! 1:37
Great explanation
Very informative.
4th, Awesome video!
This data is relevant to fixed wing aircraft and good job done.... can we expect a study on rotary wing statistics too... the data available on helicopters are very minimal...
commenting for the almighty algorithm 🙏👑
What happens when you comment on a video? I don't quite understand what folks mean when they talk about the "algorithm."

@@Brtt4849 what does it do/how does that work? I’m a medic and a farmer. Don’t understand too much about technology.
@@aaronallen943 I don’t know much, but it’s like the more comments and likes, the more it appears on stuff people see.
@@Brtt4849 Ahh, Roger that. That makes a little more sense. Appreciate you, my friend! 👊🏻
Mid-air collision near 0% fatality rate? SO this means colisions with birds and the like? Because the measures implemented to reduce mid-air collision, like the TCAS, aim to reduce the occurence of airplane collisions don't they?
I didn't understand that either
The first graph shown has essentially zero midair accidents. On the second graph the title shows the data is 2010-2014, and midairs aren’t listed at all (though maybe they’re lumped into “other” which implies they’re rare).
Then later he says “modern day aviation”.
My takeaway from all that is that midairs have become very rare or nonexistent. They’ve essentially been “solved” and that’s why they don’t make it into his revised graph.
Probably not, while there have been mid-air collisions in recent times, if anyone remembers the collision of two skydiving aircraft colliding being posted online, they don't happen so often and the graph probably only refers to commercial aircraft.
There were a few mid air collisions with survivors. There was a DC9 that landed safely after hitting a Cessna. There was the Legacy 600 that landed safely after hitting a GOL 737-800. Also in 2015 a 737-800 landed safely after hitting an air ambulance. The air ambulance was still flying but lost cabin pressure and crashed.
