It's been 3 months and I m regularly having one meal a day only.. practising yoga..now I feel more energetic and I lost 10kg of weight already . Our body doesn't requires lot of food so please guys don't stuff your body with food. Eat moderately because that's the key of healthy life.
What exactly do you eat? I'm curious about how to get all the vitamins and necessary stuff we need.
And how long do you eat this one time a day.
Are you hungry the whole day?
Is your stomach rumbling?
@@deloolo5512 I eat everything that I want to eat but only homemade food.I have carbs, proteins,fats everything..but in moderation. I count my calories while having my one meal a day . And I consume 400-600 leeser calories than my maintanance calories.. because if you are having one meal a day only then you can't eat so much food at one go..and then calorie deficit happens and you are starting to loose weight..but at the same time you need to do some yoga or home exercise as well

Wow, today I have not had any food and sun has already set. I looked up when the next new moon is and it’s in 4 days! Today is that day and I intuitively fasted!🙏🏼🕉

We should enjoy the food we eat without being paranoid about the calorie count or the number of carbs, fats, or whatever the latest dietary fad is. A healthy relationship with food is essential, so enjoy it fully without hesitation. Just like Sadhguru said... The harm of stress during eating is far more damaging to your system than any ingredient ever could be.
@@herbprof1 I'm so happy to hear that you feel better, and it's so important for everyone to have these moments of realization, that not all foods are created equal. To clarify my comment above, I was talking about yogic diet, eating positive pranic food. Positive pranic food is nourishing, easily digestible, full of flavor, and contains only ingredients beneficial for body and overall health. So if you eat this kind of food, there should be no reason to be worried about calorie count. You can eat it guilt-free and enjoy the process. 😀🙏
@@herbprof1 the food you listed excite neural system more. Having them timely when needed is good thing but having them often will reduce you tenderness towards nature. You will not be able to experience life like before. There is a sadhguru's video on this

Western world says they are excellent for you but Yoga diet says they are not? Just confused as to what is true.

If you suffer from gastric ulcers and hyperacidity, you should not consume horse gram seeds since it would worsen the condition
Horse gram seeds according to ayurveda can worsen cases of bleeding problems. If you suffer from heavy periods, consult your doctor first and then consume horse gram seeds.
If you suffer from a case of gout, horse gram is to be avoided as well. Ayurveda says it harms the rakta dhatu cycle.
If you consume medication for anemia, horse gram should be avoided since it is a contra indication
For liver issues and excess bile production issues, you should not consume horse gram
Expectant mothers are asked to stay away from horse gram too
If you have plethora and TB, you should not have horse gram as well

@@anu7779, it may sound odd to read this, but as long as I can workout in the morning or at mid-day, I have a boost of energy! My body unlocks energy through physical movement, and it locks it in without it. If I feel hungry in the afternoon it may be around 5h30pm, in which case I have a plain yogurt.

Food is just about body, The best way to decide what to eat is to ask body

Here the three things:
1. Fast every mandala( ekadasi) -40 days. Keep a 8 hour gap between meals
2. Eat neem and turmeric with honey laced water
3. Drink kollu (horse gram) soup for protein rich food.
Too much neem can cause ailments.

Fast thrice every mandala. 3 ekadashis (11th day after new moon or full moon)

You dont have to select the day, just thimk of your loved ones and make ur mind to fast for them.. If you will eat they will die tthink like that.. 😜
