    • @Aspire32
      @Aspire32  Před rokem +1

      Sensitivity is not dependent on the inlay or onlay. It depends on how good is the seal between restoration and tooth

    Hello,I had a doubt,
    1)Does dental inlay,onlay have more long term durability than normal dental fillings?
    2)Which process has more chances of mircoleakages - dental inlay onlay or normal dental fillings
    (Incase of fillings on molar teeths)

    • @Aspire32
      @Aspire32  Před 2 lety

      The success does not only depends on type of restoration Material. For example in small lesion the composite are durables too but in case where multiple cups are lot we have to consider other restoration. So its not just about caries in molar, it depends on the size of it and the amount of tooth structure remaining. Thats how we select. Micorleakge depends on multiple factors too. Like which cement was used, if its in composite then it also depends on the type of composite and how u cured it. Do watch the dental materials series on Aspire32 to understand it better
