I have one mounted on my 2019 1000 SE and have no vibration issues. I also have an aftermarket shield installed (V-Stream). I have 3 different shields for the bike and some are manufactured cheaper than others. One of them vibrates pretty good at the higher position but it decreases as I lower the shield. It's not so much an issue with the mount in my opinion, it's very sturdy. I would try a different screen on your bike or try some other adjustments to reduce the movement caused by the wind screen. The V-Stream screen I use is a bit thicker than the stock screen plus the way it is molded with a kind of crease in it to tunnel the wind, seems to stiffen it up pretty good. I hope you find a fix.
Honestly, I haven't even mounted it yet. It's still in the box 12. I haven't taken a long trip besides an hour and a half trip which I really didn't need it for, last trip I had taken I was driving all RV so I didn't even ride my bike and that was about 3 weeks ago. I plan on mounting it most likely in April. I just haven't gotten around to it because it's been a real rainy at my area and temperatures been 30 and 20° .40s and 50s here and there but mostly low 30s high 20s

I just got mine delivered today, had ordered it from cycle gear. Haven't mounted it yet, just had taken it out box, so your saying it's no good
