Anyone else get goosebumps hearing that bad boy? The best sound for a Sharks fan! There has been many amazing moments where we’ve heard it!!!
Even though im a oilers fan but this horn is such a W
Nah I haven't heard it in person so I don't know
Sorry about 2016!
SpongeBob fans may think it’s SpongeBob’s alarm clock
What about some goosebumps on the CLEVELAND monsters
Thank you so much Brodie, Every time I went to shark's games I purposely chose seats that I could hear the horn best at. If you could make a separate video showing the button and activating the horn that would be awesome.
Love hearing the horn whenever I go to the tank! Nothing like feeling the bass of the horn after a Sharks goal.
lucky i dont think ill ever be able to hear it in person 😔 i live in maine
As a goal horn fan, I really enjoy learning about the history of them, where they are located at arenas and how to activate them. This horn has been one of my favorites. As well as the Kahlenberg KM-134 (Boston Bruins goal horn)
Just a shame the Bruins horn is a recording.
I'm an air horn geek myself.
When setting up our banners for Opening Night 2021, we had a great opportunity to hear the "wind up" from the opportunity of having no one IN the building, 6 hours prior to puckdrop.
On the speakers we hear "Horn is being tested, please cover your ears. In 3...2...1...", and hearing that in an empty arena was a memory I'll never forget.
I'll bet that was a fun thing. I used to work at the Amalie Arena, overnight conversion. Sometimes on late mornings, they'd be doing goal horn tests or the Tesla coil test... and those sounds will hit you right in the gut.
Wow. This is fascinating to me, I love it. I love how it was installed when I turned 2 to the day! Exactly 2 years after I was born. That’s just awesome.
only fitting for the Sharks to have a ship's horn. Awesome piece of Sharks history there!
I love these behind the scenes videos. Thanks Brodie!
I as a Penguins fan, have always enjoyed how unique sounding the horn was. It's just not the same now without the Casio Keyboard version of "Rock and Roll Part 2" being played afterwards. CURSE YOU GARY!
I love that horn sound. So unique in the NHL. I think we have the best goal horn sound. I have seen the guy pressing the button for the horn to go off. It was really choice!
This. This right here is what every team needs to do. Very detailed, very professional, I NEED MORE!
Brodie I want to thank you for the video! Many times when the sharks have scored I have actives my three ring camera speakers and have a copy of the goal sound and the whole court knows the Sharks have scored! Ps no one yet has complained!
I love the deep, bassy sound of the goal horn. I also love you can feel the rumble in your body. Such a great horn!
Thx Brodie for another awesome video post and a sneak peak behind the scenes (up in the rafters) look at the Shark Tank. Man that birds eye view from the press box is really up there!!! I guess that is where Sharkey used to begin the game way back when he/she was still rapelling down to the ice! Outrageous!
We were so used to hearing that horn...but the sharks had a different horn before than one. I was watching some Sergei Makarov highlights and the horn they had before, sounded like the SF Giants home run horn. This was in 94'
Nice I like how it weighs more than undertaker lol
That's cool! Thanks Brodie!!
Thanks for giving us an insiders look on a lot of this stuff! Keep up the great work sir!
Thanks Brodie for this video..one of things I always wondered about what looked like, where was located and the other details. Appreciate you putting spotlight on a important unseen but definately heard part of the game!
I need to get one to use as my alarm clock in the morning .
That’s cool Brodie. Good piece.
Awesome video I love knowing about the goal horns in each arena
Best horn in the business 📢
Kahlenberg. A Wisconsin-based company. Shoutout to Two Rivers! 2:21
Awesome!
This is the geeky content we love to see!!
Living in Cleveland. I went to Cleveland Lumberjacks games at then Gund Arena. Which has this same goal horn up in the rafters near the scoreboard. It is still used by the Monsters. BTW both the Cavaliers and the Sharks were both owned by Gordon and George Gund.
If you have 4 thousand dollars and neighbors who would be okay with you blowing a ship horn, then that is a deal.
With that weight I guess i can’t use it as a car horn...sad
Also I spent some time in the rafters for the Bulls v Thunder game during the most recent lockout
Great job! Now where’s that button!?!? 😄
Would there be special events, tours at SAP where I could press the goal horn button myself? After you described the feeling, I would like to experience that.
This is a standard horn on most cruise ships.
Fucken love the horn
I really want to see one on the Washington Capitals goal horn and siren.
All I know about the caps horn is that is been painted black.
I sit right under it. Boy is it loud and very much missed this season. We need 2 more goal scorers
Excellent documentary, but I hated having to sit through three minutes' worth of commercials to get to it. I suppose these have to be monetized somehow...
I always wondered if teams sampled different horns before settling on the one for their arena? No goal horn sounds alike..it is a mascot in and of itself for a team..some better than others !
“No goal horn sounds alike” Tell that to Vegas and Colorado, or Tampa Bay and Toronto, or St. Louis and Philadelphia. Some teams use the same horn model. The reason they might sound different is only because of arena acoustics. I do agree with you about the horn being a mascot of the team though!
I’m afraid of heights it’s my biggest phobia!!!
1:22
There it is. It sounds like SpongeBob’s Alarm Clock
I wanna know who does the announcements at the Sharks games at SAP. I’ve heard the voice since I was a kid and going back as an adult and hearing the same voice makes me curious. To me it’s iconic but don’t have a name or face to the voice.
2:24
Do you know how loud the horn gets? Maybe 130-140 decibels?
Really cool video, but man that height makes my legs hurt even on youtube.
Brazil is coming out with these videos...particularly behind the scenes content...that are quite fun and interesting. Keep these videos coming.
The islanders use kahlenberg too
Amazing how many pilots are afraid of heights!!! Can't stand it...43,000 ft...no prob, look off a 2 story building? Awwww hell no!
Lost hearing for a week sitting under it for the blues playoff game lol
Wait...what...T'rivers?! I gotta send you one of our "Made in Wisconsin" stickers that we put on all sorts of products made here for you to slap on the horn. That would be epic!
Willing to bet the part of the video where the horn gets played is actually from this video: czcams.com/video/e4Pxdz_14jU/video.html . Still, great video about our horn! Thanks, Brodie!
SCAAAOOORRRS 2:29 “JOE PAVELSKI SHARKS LEAD 3-2”!!! …Randy Hahn.
Boring horn
Idc how old they stole Padre horn
