    Excellent and informative . I can say 100% that fasting work like a miracle for me. I am no prescribed medication and I am a senior citizen. I will recommend. Fasting to anyone of any age. A tip, start with not eating in between meals .

    Intermittent fasting eventually made me gain weight and harmed my hormones. I fasted up to 20hrs and ate within a 4hr period. Now I’m undoing the hormonal & metabolic damage. I wish I would’ve learned about my circadian rhythms and I would have cut out dinner and not breakfast. I think this is important especially for childbearing women. Get AM sunlight, eat a well balanced breakfast, mid day sun, no blue light at night and check your mineral ratios (HTMA).

    I hate it when people say everything in life is about circadian rhythm, because I don't have one. I have Non-24 Hour Sleep-Wake Disorder. I was born with it, and it is hell to live with.

    So true. I take my dinner around 5pm and do 16 hour fasting. I skip breakfast and eat my lunch around 12 pm. The good thing is that I don't even feel hungry when I do 16 hour fasting. I only drink water and green tea while fasting. And around 11 am I do 20 minutes vigorous exercise and after 1 hour I consume protein rich diet.

    Think the main problem with Nutritional science is we are not mice, the whole low fat thing was tried before and only made people fat. People did not get better and before you tell me oh, people did not actually eat low fat. I remember eating soybean burgers in school..... Sure in the hell did not help my grades. Ancel Keys, HAS BEEN DONE AND IT FAILED

    Indeed, watching them melt away within 48 hours felt so good, and yes, I used what I mentioned the other day. It actually took a bit more to make them totally disappear, I just go’ogled Melissa Thanderski and the pain unexpectedly disappeared so quickly.

    I'm not buying his theory that you can lose weight with only time-restricted eating of an 8 to10 hour window without cutting calories, because everyone I know eats in an 8-to-10-hour window, and most are overweight or obese. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find people who eat outside a 10-hour window, actually.

    • @rainflowers1099
      @rainflowers1099 Před rokem +4

      Really? If you eat breakfast at say 8am, you'd have to stop all food at 6pm to fit in 10 hour eating window. Lots of people snack in the evening beyond 6pm. I'd say a lot of people dont even eat within a 12 hour window.

    • @BadCarbNoDonut
      @BadCarbNoDonut Před rokem

      @@rainflowers1099 I know some like that. And, the rest don't eat breakfast, so they definitely would not have to finish by 6. I personally start eating at about 1 PM. As I said, I do not know anyone who doesn't fall within at least the 10-hour window, and often it's 8 hours, because I know so many people that will not eat after 6.

      There are a lot of people who eat all day, just snacks here and there, especially if they have a sugar problem. My MIL has little piles of candy all around her house and will grab them whenever she wants. There has been research that says Americans eat, on average, 14 times a day with all their snacks and meals.
      Also, there are definitely people who have lost fat from just restricting the amount of time they eat and not the calories. There have been people who have specifically eaten the same number of calories in a window that they did previously and still lost fat. There have also been women who have eaten more calories than they used to used and still lost fat. Kelly Hogan is an example of this, but it was more the type of food she was eating than her eating window.
      When people are insulin resistant, the body will not let go of body fat, regardless of how many or how few calories eaten. Dr. Ben Bikman did a study on this, and fat calls swimming in insulin cannot let go of fat. Whereas, as the insulin goes down, the body works a lot more effectively and efficiently, and despite eating more calories, the body can let go of fat, assuming not too many calories. So, it’s not to say that calories don’t count at all, but they are not worth paying attention to when the issue is insulin resistance. Lower the insulin, eat until full, and don’t count calories.

      @@LauraB.335 Well, your reply didn't have much to do with my post, but the insulin part was good info. Also, I know some people eat all day, but I still don't know anyone who eats outside a 10-hour window. I guess they'd be fatter if they did. One thing about the insulin for me, though, it only worked initially. Then, I gained all the weight back and had to go with calorie restriction or fasting.

    • @rainflowers1099
      @rainflowers1099 Před rokem

      @@BadCarbNoDonut If you don't eat breakfast it's much easier to eat within a 10 hour window. But a lot of people eat breakfast, and if you do you're going to have to make sure your evening meal is no later than 6-7, then stop all food completely after that. But most of the people I know eat something in the morning, even if it's some fruit or something. And most of them would have something in the evening while watching TV. Like biscuits, or crisps (potato chips), chocolate or even a sandwich. It's great if you can avoid that, but a lot of people are eating at least 12 hours, and many for longer than that.

      His english is perfect. It's just that he's Indian. Thus, he's dialect is different from the standard american. Try listening to British English sometime. Same thing. 😊
