14:10 it could be used for putting assets on it while making the map. (so you don't need to import them everytime, you can just duplicate them then) (that's at least why I have random blocks in my game projects sometimes)

It should be noted you can also get in the cab of the trucks by hopping in the back to start them, then quickly running back around to jump in the front! Speedrunners do it for memes
The really interesting thing is that the developer of Escape the Backrooms also posts about his development of the game, so seeing both the hacker and developer perspectives is fascinating. It's probably the most documented development of a game that I've seen.

The smiler is actually a black humanoid creature with horns and are tall with long fingers, it's said that smilers can grab people instead of an insect thing
There's three (now four?) canons of the backrooms. There's the original where it's completely empty with nothing inside but the yellow walls, old florecent lighting, and slight damp carpet. There's the various monster-rooms-creepy-pasta version this game is based on. There's this game's version. And then there's those 'backrooms' found-footage youtube films' version.

Fun fact you can get extremly unlucky and get to floor 94 and it wouldnt count because its not the correct 94 you just walked hp 94 floors
in that last level i think that white plain is just to coppy and move in to place to make the floor and walls. i do this all the time when developing my games, it just ensures everything is the same size and when textured nothing will be stretched more than anything else
