You have some happy children. Feel blessed and proud about that.
Even for an armchair supervisor, this was a very satisfying video.
That Samsung is a beast! Tackled that big stump with ease.
When Pat says "GOOD!" Always makes my daughter and me laugh. Thank you for the vid.
That was a good save at 1:18:43. The tree house was going to be a direct hit, but you just nudge it enough at the last second to divert it. Phew that was lucky.
It started when he let off pressure on the tree. He backed off just a tiny bit which let the tree decide where it wanted to go. Steady unrelenting pressure would keep it under control.
That was experience that turned a disaster into a save. Well done.
@@markbrown6236 I think the take away experience from that is to not risk it again. Luck is fine until it runs out.
Thanks for giving us pricing details it adds a lot, you were very light for that much work. It looks like you hit the jackpot with that Gehl skid steer that has turned into quite a work horse.
Jesse, you and Pat did an awesome job at this site, considering it took 3 days to get all done. I was watching where you pushed over that one rotted tree by the tree stand, and all I could see was it going the wrong way, and you stopping it at the last seconds form hitting that tree stand, and all my husband could hear out of me was OMG!!! Husband Paul looked up and I replayed it for him, and he just looked at me, and said, Close!. Look forward to the log cabin build, after you finish your home. Be interesting to see how you plan to update the small cemetery there, and keep it [ Which I feel you should out of respect for those buried and laid to rest there. Sure you can come up with a beautiful way to up date it. You really lost money doing this job, but didn't figure on two day clean up either. WOW!! Video was Amazing, but all of yours are. The work on this, and also the sharing of this, appreicated. Thank you. Look forward to the next one.
thanks, yea I wont be disturbing that cemetary. The cabin build will be up in the adirondacks, but it wont be a log cabin just all sawmill material
Log cabin build? Hmmmm interesting.
Nice vid ,You and Pat work really good together.
Jesse, your content is always interesting 😊 Thanks
I have watched you for five hours today and loved every minuye of it. Good job you don't charge me for it, or I would be broke now :) Talk about reasonable when you tote it all up .... WOW. Great value for money, am sure the customer is very happy, but then again you are virtually part of the estate anyway with all the work you and your excellent crew have put into it. All the best on the next job. Still singing "got yourself a thumb" :) (The Sopranos)
I tell you Jesse, you are a go-getter, I remember that energy when I was younger, you do excellent work.
Good to see the hauler still working so well for you. 👍 All of the 1/2 circle arched tubing looks like a future greenhouse. Am liking how you use fast forward.
$10K job
পড়া 😅😊😊😊
MASSIVE STUMP!!
STEEP SLOPE‼️
EXCELLENT JOB 💯
Where are you located??
I continue to enjoy the time lapse. The job was costly for you. The customer hopefully was satisfied with the end result. Finished product looks good and perhaps some perpetual future work. Keep the videos coming. Praying for your wisdom, peace, health, strength, safety and success. Blessings to you, family, employees and customers. ☝️🙏🙌💪🎯... my final addendum would be...😲 G O O D! 😀👍
You and that machine did excellent work. thanks for sharing.
Jesse, you are the man.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥰🥰🥰🥰
nice work on the 4 ft. stump , came out easy, amazing how machinery can make a weeks work into a few hours work loved it , great vid
Love seeing that new Thumb in action on the big girl there :-) Great stuff!😎👍👍
Need learn how to use the thumb 😊
Yes a lot of work looks good well done guy's thank you for sharing
Hey Jesse I enjoyed the old school 70s music, keep up the good work.
I absolutely love the clean-up
Thank you for sharing 😊
That Samsung excavator has some power. Not bad for an older excavator.
Yay, sunglasses and trucking. 👍
Wow! It is always so great to see someone who actually knows what their doing and how to do it correctly! Thank you Jamie for the video.😀🇨🇦
Jesse Jamie, close enough.
Great video ad thanks for talking about billing. I don't know that I'll hire out much, there is plenty of excavator / skid steer work to do on my farm. Maybe one day.
Teamwork makes the Muller dream work. Another impressive video Jesse
It's nice that you care enough about the customer to fill in the stump holes with dirt. My dad hired a guy to do 2 acres of stumps and us kids had to go out with hand shovels and fill in all the holes with dirt.
Keep up the great content, always look out for my favourite channels next content and you’re one of them 👌🏻
The thumb is paying off. ;-)
Hopefully there's some good value in the lumber from some of those logs.
All that work for 3K!! Wish you lived down south! Hire you in a minute! 💯👌👌
Just love that gearbox Jesse, split changing takes me back to when i was 18 to 20yo. I'm 83 now. Admire your get up and just do it, nothing is impossible. Uncle Bob. NZ.
Great job Jesse and Pat
Those pines should you a fair amount of board ft of lumber! 😂🎉
quick reaction catching that falling tree at 1:19:00. Great job!
Great video J . The customer got a sweet deal . Very lucky on that boom rub on that tree too huh , never mind saving the tree stand . Could have been very costly .
The customer got a great deal and the outcome looks great . You work too cheap but you have a repeat customer that will continue to have work for you . Possibly when you need the money coming in . Rule of thumb , don't burn the bridges behind you . Great video . I remember the house job , thought y'all would never get through such a cold hard job . Great video .
What an amazing video!😀🇨🇦
This job was harder than it would seem with the proximity to the other trees and buildings, you made it look easy!
This is some of the sharpest video I've seen on YT - nice job, nice camera.
Good video. Any small business is gonna come out making less than they should on most jobs. Just part of it and what it takes to keep customers and get work.
Great job and grear video Jesse.
job well done
1:18:43 _No no no no_ ............................... *Jesse for the save!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 Nicely done! 👍

The Samsung is a beast!
The little Ford closed cab backhoe is like l had in late 70s and early 80s . I did with it what you're doing in this video. Your trackhoe seems to work well .
Interesting video Jesse - Thank You!!
Had to start over to get audio thanks for upload great day to you and your s
Awesome to see the thumb get put to work.
Tusen takk for god underholdning 👍🤗👍
Congrats Jesse, on knocking down alot of trees and cleaned-up ur customers place.
Jake sounding mint on the old girl!!!
Thank you, great video as always.☘🍀
Building brush up against garage hill is a inviting place for rats , mice ect.
SALUDOS JESSE FROM DELTONA FLORIDA ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS. G.B.Y.A.
If you’re doing a lot of tree work you might want to consider a Drum Mulcher attachment it would allow the clean up work to be the quick part of the job and it provides nice mulch instead of leaving large piles.
Especially for pine People don't have a clue what your overhead costs is even if it's all paid for between maintenance repairs fuel and labor and what always surprised Me is a lot People overlook the fact you have to draw a pay Check yourself so if you under big a job that really hurts because it gets deducted from You every one else still gets paid l it is shocking How many customers overlook that nice job it looks great !!!
That new thumb came in handy for this job. One of the things I have always admired about you and Andrew is how well you clean up your worksite.
Great work! Might be time to add a stump grinder to your stable!!!
Nice work it was a bit of intense moment with wok three.
Jesse, The bucket is almost a ballet performer with your skill.
Really looks nice. Really cleaned up well😊😊😊😊
Something satisfying about watching hydraulics at work.
Coffees on!!! Cheers!;-)!!
Soooo many things need to work and function correctly to even get started ! ! !
You gave him a really good deal. Hope he appreciates it!
looks like you had fun!
Your buddy (Pat I believe you finally called him after multiple years of wondering his name, haha) cutting off that 30 inch pine with that makita battery saw was impressive. Did he actually cut the whole stump off with it or are you doing a little hollywood magic?
I did. Although the saw kept stopping because the batteries were getting pretty warm but it did manage cut the whole thing. I was very surprised how it cut
@@paddyroachalways good to see you in the videos Pat!
You have it alot easier where you live with the rocky ground . We don't have any rocks here in Illinois just black dirt and clay. Our stumps are really in there with deep roots.
Thanks Jesse, great video.
Really hope that you, Andrew or Matt could get a shredder...great upload, outstanding channel, thanks, man!
Thanks for the awesome video and info.
GOOD MORNING
That machine is a beast!
Could be lands man having homes for the many animals wow job well done
Lots of work, well done
Another great video, stay safe.
Nice work Jesse Looks good
Nice job but personally id grab or keep a chainsaw on hand so that way if need be u can limb off as many branches off so that way its less damaging to surrounding live trees and easier to pull the deads out and wear and tear on equipment.
nice thanks for the ride..........ok let me go change my pants...........
All your hard work has paid off on keeping your equipment up to date.
That forest seriously needs to be thinned out.. alot of dead wood .
3000 grand is money in your pocket. He’s very thankful for your hard word. how much diesel did you burn?
Nazdar draku super akce radost pohledět 🐉🐉🐲🐲🚜🚜🌲🌲🌳🌳🐻🐻😉😉♥️♥️👀👀🔥🔥💪💪💪 lesu zdar
That was totally $8k worth of work and throw a few more in for the tree save! In this day and age if I was in your line of work I wouldn't even load my equipment for two or three grand with fuel and time.
if you use Diesel fuel in place of water on your mill it will keep the pine sap at bay better and help your blade out. halifax Nova scotia canada
Great team work
Good work Jesse.
Well done 👍
Is the differential steering for the tracks messed up on that excavator? Or are you just doing the "lift and pivot" turning to avoid making ruts?
saving on ruts but also it reduces wear on all the undercarriage components
Just imagine two hundred years ago this all had to be done by hand!
My family bought their own horse in 1958, had to sell it in 1959 due to a terrible drought. Before that, they borrowed a horse for the cart, but they developed the last acres of forest into farm in the 30s by hand. Only contractors who worked on large governmental construction projects could afford dozers and draglines, though the canal near my house was still dug in the 50s by shovels and rail trolleys.
As I was watching the video I was thinking about the amount of work and equipment involved and guessing at what you might charge on a job like this. I've been retired for several years and am not at all familiar with how prices have gone up with time and inflation so I figured I'd likely be way off. My final estimation was 3-4 thousand. I was way off on my estimation of what a skid steer and excavator with operators would cost per hr. Thanks for including that info on the job. Most youtube channels don't discuss that part of the job and I know a lot of people are curious about that sort of thing.
GREAT WORK DAYS!
nice beginner toys guys
Sometimes its not all about the money. That said, what you learned is value as well. I hope you get something from it all down the road
Thanks much for sharing!
The POWER 😃
HAD A GRAPPLE FOR COUPLE YEARS WORKS BETTER THEN I THOUGHT IT WOULD. GOT SMALL KX08-4 EXCAVATOR WITH 17 HRS. FOR JUST DIGGING HOLES, PULLING UP PLANTS.
Good job on Knock them down them trees You did a heck of a job It's a nice point I wouldn't mind having them from myself now you know what I'm saying Again nice job enjoy the video so stay safe have a good day
TIMBER !!
I'm on a Jesse binge watching day. I'd ask a stupid question, but I'd probably get shunned like the old dude with the D3 and Jesse never would wave at me again. Hahahaha
what dude with the D3 did I yell at? I dont remember that. stupid questions are not always bad, only the ones that are meant to be destructive. I am always open for constructive debates
Yikes on the low bid, sorry to hear that Jesse.😮 Sometimes it works that way, but you knew that.
Power plant in the Samsung a 12 valve Cummins??love the content! Also in Hudson Valley plumber by trade but ❤️heavy equipment
