Even when I don’t feel like cooking for my kids who are 16&18 I still make sure that they either fixed themselves something or I’ll make them a quick couple grilled cheese or frozen pizza, SOMETHING! I literally cannot sleep unless I know my kids are full even if they say they don’t feel like eating or their tummy hurts I’ll still fix them a little something, idc if it does go to waste, at least I know they have something if they get hungry!

I’m good in traumatic circumstances. I keep a pretty cool head but if I found my child dead I would be inconsolable for moths just a shell of a man. I maybe could dial 911 but I wouldn’t be able to speak I would be broken
As it turns out, he didn't call a lawyer. He just called his parents and said he called a lawyer. i think he was banking on the idea that if he said he called his "lawyer", law enforcement would be on notice and watch their step. Just my opinion.

I have a one year old who sleeps through the night now. His bed time is usually 6 or 7pm, and he will sleep for 12 hours and wake up around 6 or 7 in the morning. However, this is just recent. Up until about 9 months, he slept with us in our bed. Until about 7 or 8 months, he would wake up during the night for a bottle, but the number of times he woke up slowly dropped until now - when he sleeps for about 12 hours. He also only takes one nap during the day, about 2 or 3 hours.
But no...19 hours crazy. I think we are actually pretty lucky that ours sleeps for a full 12. But when he wakes up, we wake up lol. We do sometimes give him 10 minutes or so to see if he falls back to sleep, which doesn't happen too often, but sometimes.

Babys have to be fed every few hours! And their diapers also have to be changed every few hours! Theres no way it just slept for 19 hours straight and the father thought that was normal. I think that they just didnt want the child anymore and wanted to get rid of her.

This operator is amazing!! I almost thought I was listening to the interrogation conducted by a detective. Asked all the right questions and kept his cool. Bravo.

That's outrageous to leave a baby unattended without checking in them, feeding them or changing their diaper for 19 freakin hrs! My 2 year old has slept the longest for an 8 or 9 hour stretch before wanting to nurse but a little baby would definitely wake up before even that

All of these details will come out in court. As for mr. Bible thumper, his hubris will seal his fate, just look at the arrogant media interview he did some months back. Ive followed a lot of true crime stories, but this dude makes me sicker than all of them because he is so ready to defer every question posed to him to God as opposed to himself. If I found my baby dead I don’t even think I’d be able to be understood on the phone. I’d throw myself on the floor and cry hysterically. I’d even be crying a lot if I found my parrot dead. He sounds like he’s making a customer service call to sign up for a phone plan, no emotion. They are only crying now because they were going to jail.
I feel like I would have been just holding my baby refusing to believe they were even dead. Someone else would have had to make the call for me. I definitely wouldn’t say she’s “dead as a door knob” my entire world would be crushed.

The 911 dispatcher did awesome. I don’t know how he handled doing this. There is no way I could’ve kept my composure to ask those kinds of questions after the answers I was being given. I think he knew that if started to act suspicious of the guy he was going to get nowhere. Great job to the dispatcher.

My daughter died when she was 2 months old. That was 9 years ago and I haven’t been able to get pregnant again.😢I would give up a lot to get pregnant before my clock ends but it appears it might not happen, it is not me but my husband that has low testosterone. 😢 time is ticking and I am getting older.

We adopted a BEAUTIFUL Daughter and had to be investigated from birth, financial, mentally, faith, etc. Then we had visits from social services for 6 months until adoption was finalized!!!!!! And it has always blown my mind, how some one who wants to give a child who doesn't have parents to care and love them as they need, a good life, has to go be investigated with a fine tooth comb and pay a massive amount of money, before they're allowed to be parents.
