Mushrooms are so cool, honestly. When I was a kid, a man that travelled all over the world studying mushrooms visited my town. I was so fascinated he actually gave me one of his mushroom guide books and me and my brother had so much fun using it to identify mushrooms everywhere we went.

As an avid mushroom picker I find this is so cute and relaxing. I'm so going to wishlist this and since I live in Sweden I'm sure I´ll find a bunch of mushrooms in game that's not commonly found here. It'll be so much fun and it is a perfect game for a cosy and relaxing stream as well.
It's kind looks like Forest level in the beginning of Zelda's Skyward Sword, but w/ Shumi instead of Link. dialogs also good written. also i wonder if it looks better w/ pixelated graphics.

If you are looking for a new game almost like Stardew but its really not, you should play Graveyard keeper. You will love it! Have to do tasks for people and work the graveyard and its nice!
When I see mushroom characters like that, I flashback to an animated movie from the 70s (?) that, for the life of me, I cannot remember the title of. The protagonists have gone into a witch’s castle, and are climbing a long flight of stairs which disappears out from under them. They fall into a grassy area populated by sentient mushrooms that chase them while debating how to prepare them, and one little mushroom keeps shouting, “Barbecue!” For whatever reason, that’s the one part that has really stuck in my head. Just thought I’d toss that in here in case anyone recognizes it…
