  • This is a guide to the Japanese version of the 'Tank invuln' method of resolving Death's Harvest in P7S in Final Fantasy XIV.
    This seems to be the more popular of two ways of making this mechanic more fixed by saving both tank invulns. This strat allows you to position yourself as soon as the fruit land (before the animals actually hatch).

    Seriously, thank you for making these guides. I've been using them for this tier and I'm having such a better time in pf now. Very well explained and detailed!

    THANK YOU! This is much easier to pull off in pf than your previous one (which is also good but need some adjustment). The JP war is also safer IMO in pf -- your guide on war is also good but from my experiment, yak can one shot people due to not enough mit and also bird tethers got confused where to go as well

    Started P7S prog last night for around two hours.
    Went in again after 3 - 4 hours. Pretty much Enrage experience.
    This fight is so cool for the fact you can chill after going through the menacing P5S and P6S, and just before P8S.
    Harvest, I thought would be the wall for the fight. It literally isn't. Study up the three different strats for each Harvest phase, it's just as smoothbrain like the rest of the fight.

    Thanks a lot for doing guide for this strat! Really appreciated! Is there any chance or any way that we can provide subtitles for your guides? (So sad that CZcams removed Community Captions) Because most of my static members can't understand English and it will be great that these wonderful guides can be translated to multiple languages.

    • @ShadoryKaine
      @ShadoryKaine Před rokem

      I don't believe there is dmg downs but there is still knockbacks and u need to save ur kb immune for War harvest incase u get bird tethers, so getting hit by birds in Death Harvest is bad

  • @romdog1818
    @romdog1818 Před rokem +2

    This one is the better Death one simple because all you have to do is look AT the Yak and LP1 goes Left, LP2 goes Right as per normal.
    Looking at something is more natural than looking away from something.
    Plus this makes it consistent with JP War, tether stretch for Yak, the LP1 goes Left, and LP2 goes Right, looking AT the Yak

  • @LtLukoziuz
    @LtLukoziuz Před rokem

    Um? Why do I feel like I'm about to ask a dumb question? If tanks are invulning anyway, why are they not simply standing on top platform (outside of bird's path due to KB), and ignoring how the bulls are positioned on bridges? Aren't you immune to everything in there?

    • @HectorHectorson
      @HectorHectorson  Před rokem

      Standing on the top platform won't kill you when invulning, but it will cause you to pick up a damage down. That's why tanks should stand on the bridge.

  • @ragnose1
    @ragnose1 Před rokem

    i really dont see how fixed positions couldn't be used without tank invulns... sure itd be a lil trickier but if both tanks position rright on the bridge they wont clip eachother or the healer, esp if the healers a lil further in

      Why would you do Bull S? To look away from something, you need to find it first.. that first step of finding it is already Bull N. Just do what Hector does and figure out left or right from that first step. Why add the extra step of looking away from it (Bull S) before you figure out your side?

    • @edc4837
      @edc4837 Před rokem

      Also, most other things in high lvl fights that require you to figure out left or right has you looking at the point of reference, ie similar to Bull/Yak N, not turning away from it. Just feels like Bull/Yak S adds extra complexity without much advantage.
