Kenny doesn't get enough credit. After all the mess with Hicks and Gillett and Roy Hodgson, he comes back from retirement to sign Suarez and win a league cup in one season before disappearing again. He did exactly what was needed.

It's been so long we've last won a domestic cup competition that even the name of the trophy has changed. Sad that Kenny was later sacked in the same year.

Just want to say, Kepa isn't suddenly a bad keeper, I think we can all agree that Tuchel has massively improved him and deserves credit for that and Kepa on the whole when Tuchel relies on him has generally been solid

Yeah, he was so contemptuous with reporters during this spell. In that aspect, dealing with the media, he was terrible. You can see it especially in one game where we beat Blackburn 3-2, look it up. And he handled the Suarez thing quite badly, often choosing escalation over de-escalation. I think it was all from the Hillsborough stuff, but he steadied the ship, won us a cup and let a good foundation for Rodgers to start with.
