I like seeing blue hydrangea over different base glazes. I love the effect of it, will have to try it over purple haze too sometime. The tray/bowl combo is very pretty. And the mama bear mugs 💜💜 🧸

Yes Amanda I love using blue hydrangea as a cover glaze. lol plays so nicely with other glazes.

Nice, Lisa! Cute Foxy! Thanks for the Magic Eraser tip! I LOVE you studio blue. I am assuming there is no actual cobalt in it since it would break the bank, but I am curious. I have not heard about the change in Seaweed that can happen in an overglaze fire. Looking forward to seeing the results! Thanks, once again! 🍁🇨🇦

Hi Audrey it does have cobalt carbonate in it. I still have a stash I ordered quite a while ago. I’m assuming the price went crazy ?

@finklepottery704 Yup! Good thing you had a stash because it did go up due to being a conflict mineral. I don't know much about glaze chemistry, but hopefully, there is a new way to make that beautiful blue. It's a lovely bowl, Lisa!

Hi Nat. Yes I applied the winter wood first. Put a small line of flux at the top of the winter wood. Then made sure the top color covered the flux. Hope that makes sense 😊

If you get body staining on a piece you can clean it up with Mr clean magic eraser
