Yes it was a quick upload to you tube😊 I didn’t do any editing this time
When I start making videos I doubt I will be editing either. Lol. 😊
I think your glaze memory is amazing! I must write everything down or it’s a mystery, there’s no in between. 😂
I feel your pain. I think sometimes it is just being familiar with the look of certain glazes that helps my memory. I know taking is best! I am just undisciplined lol
Beautiful unload...Kimchi is one of my most favorite glazes because of all the colors in it 💗 I LOVE that bowl! Now I have to get some Twilight, lol! and OMG the Twilight color variation on that refire! mind. blown.
Awe thanks Starr! High praise as I really admire your glaze work!
That is so nice of you to say!! Thank you😊@@finklepottery704

You are most welcome
Beautiful results again! ❤ 17:19 is my favorite
You shared your studio pink once, I think, but I can't find the video.
Thanks! Here is the link in glazy. glazy.org/recipes/7871. Make sure you test a small batch first. Last time I made it I got white instead of pink.
@@finklepottery704Thank you. That one was on my to do list 😂. I tried Raspberry ripple (also on Glazy) twice now but it comes out almost transparent. I'll try this one in a small quantity too 😊
Beautiful work! How is it that your combo of honey flux and river birch doesn't run off the pot?
Hmmm not sure. I am probably firing to a hot five or a cool six. Maybe that helps?
Maybe try a Retire upside down on stilt and post
Yes! Worth a try 😊
I just bought Blue Twilight, do you know of any pretty green combos that go nicely with it? I have a commission and am looking for a purple-blue-ish/mid-green. They’ll meet in the middle of the little dishes and I want to add flux or cream where they overlap. Would really appreciate any suggestions! Love your combos. We vacationed in NS 6 years ago & I fell in love with it! We took the ferry across to PEI but only had an hour to put around. You live in such a lovely area! 💜
I'm not sure if we have the same twilight. Mine is spectrum twilight which is kind of a smoky charcoal color for me. I don't have specific suggestions for you, but I do find the company websites can be really helpful, as well as the facebook pages where potter share their combos.
Beautiful colors, are you using mid fire or high fire glazes. The place I go to only fires low fire glazes. Thank you for sharing
All my glazes would be considered mid-fire cone 5/6 glazes
Hi from Australia. Gorgeous as always! I'm new to glazing and a bit confused about mixing glazing methods. Do you dip and brush on the same mug so that they overlap or do you not put brushed glaze on the dipped glaze? I thought ware could only be dipped 3 secs max and didn't think you could brush glaze onto a dipped glaze. Doesn’t the dipped glaze chip off before firing? Mine does if I dip 2 coats for 3 sec each so I stopped doing that 😮. Thanks so much 😊
Hi I typically only dip once or it will be too thick. I brush glazes on top of dipped glazes often. For example I have a bucket of alabaster so I dip once, then I brush on one coat of Winterwood from the jar. It saves time and I like the fewer speckles
Thanks for the advice, very much appreciated 🤩🤩 🙏@@finklepottery704
Have you ever tried a forest green, or any dark green?
I sometimes use spectrum hollygreen. It is a dark translucent glaze. Great for texture. Amaco rainforest is very nice but has a slight blue tint.
Lisa, have you tried Mayco Ivy?
I have not. Do you like it?
@finklepottery704 I just bought it so I guess we will find out, lol
