Come?
This guy right here is the OG boxing channel
Thank you Tmoney!
Textbook, nice to see the jab being correctly twisted, slipping inside, sets the right up beautifully, then hopefully outside to throw the left hook...hides the chin behind the shoulder......no counter stick a right uppercut on the end of the combo....exactly what it says on the tin qualty boxing tuition...
Awesome drills always. Thanks, Sir.
Great tips JT, thanks.
Pearls of wisdom, brilliant coach
Great video and wonderful advice Coach !
Great tips as always, coach.
Aye ! I needed this coach 🙏
Love this!
Man JT, thanks for all your hard work that you share with us. Maybe you gonna take some vacation in Heidelberg, Germany (my homeland) and do some boxing Workshops :) Stay healthy coach!
sparring today, definitely needed this quick tip. Mad appreciative.
I sparred for the first time and got my butt handed to me. It’s frustrating.
our coach insists on doing this in every single punch we throw. i tell you this really burns the core and legs after a few rounds
Spectacular video!!!
Thank you Coach Van Veld Huysen!
Good info. Preesh- appreciate it

Solid video.
best boxing channel ever
I appreciate all the boxing channels out there, i follow some and love watching boxing videos to help with my boxing but out of all i really like yours JT. You explain everything detailed and make drills for us to work on, i mostly watch your channel to learn from. I love your follow along videos and workouts. You truly know how to teach. Thank you!
Thank you crol, I really appreciate your support
Finally some actually tips on how to move your head🥊
Great video
Love it 💓💓💓
Thank you.
Nice !!
Another great video. Thanks man. Im suggesting something that I struggle with a lot in sparring in particular. Forgetting to use my whole body into the punches and movements and using mainly the power of the hands.
I have a video « punches for 4 hours non stop » it can help you to learn to use all your body
I usually always slip while punching. It just comes natural when you shift slip. Congrats on 1 million subscribers.
Nice! and thank you!
Thanks!
Thank you for the support Nalin!
My MAN
Fortunately, I have found a coach who teaches boxing efficiently
I recognize so much myself while avoiding and punching this first invasive punch ... then ..no more ;-)))🤣
1 mil subs!
Here's a tip when you drop your cross as on orthodox fighter try to move your torso to the left as much as possible,if he leans back take a step with your lead foot on wich you landed and land with your right foot on the step executing a left uppercut. It's called a follow up you keep pressuring after they lean back, this one is for sneaky hard to reach boxers that lean back too much.
I had some problems with a boxer that leaned back too much times and i couldn't cach him till i did this.
Cross with a jolt step, step forwards again land on your right foot and whilst you step drop a cross with your left hand a straight shot.
If you do it on full speed they will never be able to back off enough times, no stepping back works against this.
do you have any video of this pls ?
countering the cross with a cross and head off the line (mirror counter) has led to many KO’s!
Watch Bivol hit the bag and utilize these slot changes on each punch sometimes.
Most people wouldn’t actually want to do this in a fight because your head would constantly cross the centerline but it is a good drill to understand how to punch and build momentum while getting your head off the line.
But my all time favorite is definitely dropping down and throwing high. From a wrestling background to mma, it was a natural way to feint the takedown and throw a power shot for me.
( see Michael Chandler )
but as coach highlights it also great for boxing ( see Canelo vs Kirkland)

How to move your head when throwing combinations
Should I dodge after punching or while punching ?
Is this only for specific punches ?
'You are hungry'
Me: I'm always hungry 🍔🌭🥪
Great video again , as always. I like how you always point out the little things and obvious mistakes that beginners make.
Off topic question to satisfy my curiosity : Are you or your family by any chance Dutch or Flemish ? Van Veldhuysen sounds very Dutch.
Thank you! Yes, my father is Dutch, I'm born in Canada.

hi

I’ve always wondered about this kind of movement, it seems like the opposite of a technically sound punch. When you punch you’re supposed to be balanced centered but this kind of changes that. Any tips for doing these kind of punches without sacrificing power and balance?
Don't move your head past your knee.
I used to do karate so sometimes it's OK to do that if you follow with certain attacks like a hook kick if I move my head psst my knees foe a moment.
But generally you don't want to to maintain balance
As long as it scores you a point in ametuers it's all good, you can do what this gentleman does but also slip with jab and jab to get more balance and push off foot for power
I got tipped off by my training partner for this tonight in training
wow cool!
How can i exauste my opponent?
Stay on offense and defense at the same time. Slipping, countering, jabbing, always moving around, go inside and outside. Make sure you have good stamina or it won’t work.
good jab and distance control, circling with footwork, bodywork, keeping pressure with combination punches
Fluidity
