I like the way you can play as Paul Rudd, that's a cool feature
Seems pretty pointless giving such a detailed character creation system and then not allowing us to play in 3rd person. Game still looks fantastic though

@@mnorbert4188 that would make sense if it was an online game. But it's a single player campaign so nobody is going to see you apart from programmed NPC's
@@amrickjames6777 actually, sometimes they reacting how you look like. I looted a bandit's helmet and equipped it. When I went back to the quest giver NPC to finish my mission he scared of me first because he tought that Im one of the bandits, bc the helmets. He even mentioned this

PSA: I completely blanked on the eyebrow thing, there are like 34 options I just didn't notice the slide - dunno why, but it's in the same section as Hair. My brain apparently did NOT want to register it lol.

What’s the point in customizing your character when there’s no 3rd person POV option? Great video, nothing against you at all. I just don’t understand what they were thinking making it 1st person only
Tyler Rieser I was wondering this. There’s literally no point as far as I can tell.
You can still see your character is the inventory when equipping gear - though I do agree it's a shame there's no 3rd person.
Jago Strife I was wondering whether to get it or not. I was really I interested when it was announced, but I've seen some gameplay and I was a little underwhelmed. Is it open world? Can I just explore and goof around?
Jago Strife Thanks for the feedback. Most of the gameplay I’ve seen has been seemingly endless talking heads, which puts me off. But a lot of thought's obviously gone into it. I ought to give it a chance.
It sometimes has cinematic kills and you see your character everytime you open the menu.
Was gonna download it today, but my internet has been down all day, so I'm hurting right now. Your video will have to be all I get for tonight.

I spent ages on making my character and took even longer picking a name (WoW flashbacks lol) the only thing I would change/alter is separate makeup options because there's some sweet eyeshadow choices but the other stuff is blah👍

when i put in my attributes and press next nothing happens does anyone know how to fix it, i’m stuck in the character creation
I really enjoyed this video! You don't see many videos like these, showing the character creation system, i didn't like that they don't show the age of your character, like 18 to 70 for example, it would be simpler. I hope that Cyberpunk 2077 will let you pick the height and body type of your character.

Character Customization in a first person game were you have no reflections, and cant see your feet and body when looking down seens realy pointless.
The game is amazing, no doubt about that, but this in depth caracter creator just made me scratch my head, what is the point? i Just took the preset and got on with the game.
Rafa Druner I think there are some instances when your appearance might affect the game( I have the game, but haven’t played it at all yet, so this is just a guess).
Yeah, immersion. Fallout 4 lets you see your character, IIRC, but I rarely enabled the option
Wish there was just a tad more customization options, but it's adequate.
What about the body style and hair color? Also, how did you like leveling up? Did you get the lock picking and hacking readily, or were there complications? I ask because the character you designed is close to the way I would as well. Brains, stealth, sniping and infiltration.
Unless I'm missing something there aren't any body options. And I show some of the hair colours. Re-leveling, I only got my key yesterday (which I think is the case for most mid-sized channels) so I haven't had massive amounts of time to level up. It works very similar to New Vegas though - with you getting skill points to assign and a perk every other level.
@@norespawns So far the game sounds very interesting. As to character creation in general, I think I like the system they use in Saints Row 3 & 4. It seems to be a lot more flexible than most. (LOL, and before anyone says it, no, not for the big bazoombas.) Anyway, hope you're enjoying the game! 😊
I just got my ps4 copy of the game installed and updated. Hopefully the npcs in this one don't have a magical sense of where your crosshairs are and ammo amount.

This game feels like Fallout mixed with KOTOR mixed with Rick and Morty mixed with Borderlands

@Anthony Keller I dislike the shine as well but I do like the texture. Lot's of games have cakey looking hair. Honestly, Fallout 4's customization was much better than this game's.

theres any reason to have attributes below averange, beyond one extra point in another attribute?
Arguably you could lose points in combat attributes like strength and still be effective, which means a boost to other skills as you now have free points.
Also, if you have low intelligence, it changes your dialogue options quite a bit.
Is there a way to change your
appearance? I don't like the facial I picked 😬
There were dialogue options that suggested you could get it down in the Groundbreaker clinic after you did her quest, but then nothing happened when I spoke to her after. I get the impression that this is a glitch and you are normally able to do it.
That was really useful, thanks. I'm still downloading the game, and getting a bit of preview -- especially your discussion of skill stacking and getting multiple skills to 20 -- will definitely help tomorrow when I can start playing.

Defo but I might need a better camera (there's one at my irl work that I'm gonna try and borrow if possible) - live painting is trickier that just building/showing models, as I need to get the lighting right too. But it IS a thing I want to do.
