TUTORIAL: 1/25 Scale Kenworth W900 Tri Drive and Frame/Sleeper Ex3tension

  • Here's a quick video showing off how I did a frame extension, tri drive, and sleeper extention on this Kenworth W900. I used the sleeper from another W900 I had, and spare parts from a Peterbilt 359 that I scrapped to build a similar Peterbilt tri drive.
    All together, I used 4 kits to make 3 trucks: 2 Peterbilts to make one Tri Drive extended Peterbilt, and two Kenworths to make both this kit and eventually a cab only rollback flatbed tow truck from the kit I robbed the sleeper from.

    That's very cool looking! I'm working on my very first semi right now after 50 yrs of modeling! Hopefully I'll have the video out in the next few weeks. You got a sub too

    Do You put it together to make sure everything fits then take it apart and paint everything?

    You have Peterbilt air leaf on front drive with KW 8 bag suspension behind it. Come on dude!
