I haven’t had any BO in 5 years since I’ve been using it. I still sweat but it effectively prevents the bacterial growth that cause odor. I don’t sweat as much either, because I’m not worried about being stinky! (At least that’s what I believe is the cause, could also be the product)

    • @molo8026
      @molo8026 Před 3 měsíci

If you sweat and let your body ferment in it, then you will stink bad. Proper hygiene is essential. You should not smell like an onion factory just by sweating a little during the day. And detoxing is absolutely a natural process. We pee and poop what we don't need every day. Toxins are also released in our sweat. Why do you think saunas are recommended to get the detox process going? I spent way too many years clogging up my pits with antiperspirant. Now I let them go through their natural process and I never stink. I swipe my pits every day with the Sprouts brand mineral salt deodorant. That's it. I also worked on cleaning up my gut. If your pits and poop smell like death...you have gut issues.

Fels-naptha works well at removing yellow stains and the remaining odor from antiperspirant/deodorant in the armpit area of shirts. I take my shirts as I am throwing things in, wet the under arm area and rub the inside and out of the shirt with fels-naptha and wash as normal, and it does a good job of breaking down the residue and removing the stain. With repeated use it will eliminate the stains and odor. It works well for white or colored clothes without effecting the color of the garment. Adding oxiclean with the fels-naptha will also increase the stain and odor removal and hasn't had an adverse affect on my clothes. Hope this helps anyone who also has this problem with underarm stains and odor residue.

lulu pfp spotted! some other comment recommended chlorhexidine gluconate, quote: "it kills and inhibits gram + and - bacteria, fungi, and it generally takes about 20-30 seconds to kill them. Surgeons use it before surgery and it continues to work after rinsing. So I just decided on a whim to try it out under my armpits (make sure you DO NOT get it in your ears and eyes) at the beginning I used it more frequently but now I only use it around once a week and just use regular body wash every day. My armpits smell great (and by that I mean they don’t smell at all). I also pair it with a fragrance free crystal deodorant. They just don’t smell anymore and I love it." @mandyheart8754 Před 4 měsíci +14

All humans have the ABCC11 gene. It’s a *specific variant of the gene* that leads to dry earwax and absent body odor.
Weird that someone would know that they have those gene-linked symptoms and then make the effort to post a comment about it (especially when sharing the info is not meaningful to the video discussion ), yet that person lacks basic knowledge about the condition - made obvious by stating that they don’t have body odor issues because they “have the ABCC11 gene”. Yet all people have the ABCC11 gene. Having it is not a unique condition. Having a *specific mutation of the gene* is the unique condition.

    Im sure the benzoyl works.
I stopped using antipersperants past few years as I felt it was important to allow my body to sweat and detox as designed to.
As an alternative , I use an oil on my armpits plus oil-based natural deoderants. And they work for me !
If exercising or a hot day I simply wash my arnpits on a as- required basis . If I'm out & about then wet wipes and an oil-based deoderant.
Some people use an oil and then tea tree essential oil on top.
For a special event eg a wedding or an all-day conference etc I will use an aluminium -free antiperspirant.
Just as an aside, taking Tumeric supplements can change the odour of your sweat.
Different brands do this to different extents.
Ps oils I use : coconut, johobo, castor.
Plus rosemary or lavender or peppermint or even tea tree oil.
    +/Or an oil-based deoderant stick.
You can really play around with what suits you according to your activities.

I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding this issue. However, I don't like to take any chances where there is even the remotest possibility of cancer. So, I only use aluminum-free deodorant.

I personally never use either, I just wash daily, if I’m particularly worried I will use benzoyl peroxide wash, then followed with a spray of salicylic acid spray or glycolic acid toner. Then followed by a nice fragrance.
