Hi bud,
I was thinking of getting the blissbox and since you have used it in the past, would you use the blissbox for emulation or use a combination of GuliKit KK3 Max, dualsense and wireless gamecube controller for emulation on pc?
Cheers
That looks really nice. My favorite Switch controller has actually been my XBox controller that I use with that adaptor you showed a while back
Best review ever. Thanks 🙏🏻 so much
I've got the KK2. Played through all of GTA V on Xbox 360 with it (after using usbdsecpatch to bypass controller authentication). Also used it for Splatoon 3 on Switch and some games on Steam Deck. The KK3 looks mostly similar. The paddles are a nice addition to see since the main reason I got the 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller when I already had the Gulikit KingKong 2 Pro was for the paddles. The macros are super handy for testing things or stopping your device from going to sleep. I once used it on my Deck with Terraria to just open and close my inventory repeatedly so my Deck wouldn't go to sleep because I was waiting for some in-game glowing moss to grow and just needed a lot of time to pass.
I would really like to see Gulikit make a new controller with the PlayStation stick layout at some point. We don't really have any good hall effect options in that layout, everything is Nintendo/Xbox.
Is the gyro for splatoon good or is it a little off in comparison to the joycons or native pro controller
@@MedChicken It was fine from what I remember when using it, but when I switched to the 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth for Splatoon it might've felt a little bit better. Not sure if that was all in my head or not.
Hopefully the Mag-lev motors are like transducers instead of rotating mass rumble. Less start-up lag and inertia.
Im happy with my 8bit do thanks it has a charging dock included which pwns everything else on the market
You touched on basically everything I'd be wondering about when comparing to the official Pro Controller. Rumble, joysticks, and d-pad sound on par or better than the official, can wake the console, and has NFC. Didn't sound like there was anything that was worse than or 'missing' compared to the official controller here.
I've owned a King Kong 2 Pro for two years. Ordered this like three days ago as soon as it was available on Amazon. Both of them are the best switch controllers you can buy.
Hopefully i don't get too tore up here. Lol. But what is that 1st person, 8-16 bit style game you're playing with the little "slimes" with sword and magic casting? That looks right up my alley and would love to play that one!
😁thanks it has the extras
I'm curious if it will still charge when the system is off like the official Nintendo pro models and show battery life. Aftermarket Power A do not.
Hey sr, i just saw your video about pga emulation, I have a question: In the video you were using a cyclone V, do you know if i can use a cyclone IV to emulate ? Thank you!
Mobapad M6 HD joycon even more impressive. First joycon with HD Rumble, NFC, gyro, wireless wakeup, HALL analogs, mechanical buttons using Omron switches including dpad, which swaps with a rocker and is the best d-pad I've used in my life, rear mappable buttons, macro and turbo, antifriction rings, swappable plates with round or octagonal gates, 17 hr battery life, and so ergonomic I dismantled the official charge grip and stripped down to the middle slab, and use it as a Pro Controller.
Ooh man, those look beautiful.
Qq: I don't suppose you can map any of the ABXY buttons to the back button on the left joycon, right?
Can you use it on anything other than the switch?
@@the_pentah00k58did you ever get an answer to that?
Seems good, but I was interested in what the battery situation is.
"but it felt goood"😂
What was that 1st person shooter you were playing?
Can you just swap the buttons around to your liking or do they only fit in one place?
i ordered the gray one but man... now i want the black one :3
Can we have a "Your top 10 controllers you can buy today" video thanks man!
A good third party controller that has OPTIONAL back buttons? Sign me up! One of my biggest pet peeves is built in back buttons that I'm constantly hitting by mistake. This is a great solution. It's there for those that want them, but they can be taken off if you don't want them. Kind of a shame that it's more than the pro controller though. Still my fave for the Switch, got one day one. If it was the same or less, that'd be the selling point for me. As is... not sure. Like I get that it has the extras with the led lighting and the paddles, but I don't need either of those things.
Also has hall effect sticks unlike the normal pro controller. That was the main selling point of the previous model for a lot of people. This is a somewhat minor revision with a lot of the same features.
@@SoundToxin Good callout, I forgot he mentioned that!
Is this a little smaller than an official xbox controller? The switch pro controller is way more comfortable to me than an official xbox controller and I am trying to find something for PC with a similar feel.
What pixelated, 1st person, dungeon crawling game were you playing in this video?
Witch Rise
What’s that first person dungeon crawler pixelated game you’re playing?
Found it in another comment: Witch Rise.
Any version of this for PS4/5...? Or at least something with HALL on PS4/5
maglev motors are used on traons 😮👀😯😮
What's that wand game he's playin?
Gulikit makes LEGIT controllers...fair priced as well...
$80 is not fair price, sorry to inform you you.
@@Earthling247for a high quality pro controller it’s more than fair. Xbox is $60 and dual sense and Nintendo switch is $70 for a barebones controller and this is better just on pure build quality durability and stuff aside it feels much nicer and is much nicer to use. This is higher quality and uses halo sense and has pro features like back paddles, interchangeable thumb sticks (which the dual sense edge doesn’t even have), and trigger locks which Sony charges $200 and Microsoft $180 for (although it can if you’re lucky be had on sale for $130-150 if you’re patient).
Yeah this is a good price. And unlike those the thumbsticks will never wear out with drift.
Not to mention the halo effect triggers and the 1,000hz polling rate which is achieved when wireless with the dongle (Bluetooth is only 125hz so it does give a worse connection but theirs a reason ps5 and Xbox don’t use basic Bluetooth as their wireless connection even though their controllers have come with them for years in Xbox since 2016 they have had Bluetooth).
And it comes with interchangeable buttons if you wanna emulate or play switch or if you wanna play pc/xbox/playstation.
The d pad is good. The rumble is great. Good gyro aim if you care.
If you don’t need such a high quality controller and don’t wanna spend $80 that’s fine. But to say it’s not a good value is insane. And it comes with the back paddles and the buttons to change as well as a 2.4ghz dongle if you don’t wanna use Bluetooth.
The only downside is for Xbox and I think PlayStation is you need a dongle to play wirelessly but I’m just gonna play wired tbh.
@@Earthling247tbf $70-80 isn’t fair for any controller on the market 😂 maybe the dualsense since it’s actually an awesome controller
What game is this? 2:34
I like but I've never been afan of the Xbox style layout.sticking with the 8bitdo for that style of pad
I went through 2 Kk2 controllers. I’m hesitant to buy this. Could’ve been crap luck but still
Which mario version was the first gameplay?
New Super Mario Brothers Wonder
Does the Goku adapter still work? Xbox just banned unlicensed controllers.
Why would any company do that I mean as long as your playing on there system who cares what controller you use?
@@matthubbard2607 Money.
They're greedy, remember?
@@matthubbard2607 well they want you to buy their controller every year that's why sony and microsoft never do a hall effect thumb stick to force you to buy their controller every year.
What the name of the game playing @5:51?
I hate the handles on the 8bit do. The parallel way they are designed is so uncomfortable. This one looks comfy though
I can't find the back version anywhere. It's sold out on amazon. They only have the retro color on there.
I found a black one
@@IceBlueLugia literally came in stock after an hour of posting this lol they seem to go in and out of stock all the time on Amazon
Cool 🎮
Looks just like the xbox series controller
What game are you playing at 3:23
Found it : Witch Rise
What was that last game you showed?
Prison City, I reviewed it not too long ago, heres the video czcams.com/video/79sXG0yphuE/video.html
What's that game that you played that looks like a fps with a wand
I wanna know 2 looks fun
Witch Rise (taken from another comment)
Looks nice but 80 bucks is a little too much. The reason I picked up the 8bitdo pro 2 is because it was pretty much a pro controller but slightly cheaper. This one is as or more expensive than the Nintendo pro controller. I mean, im sure some people will pay. But to get a more casual audience like me, they might wanna go down a few notches on the price.
Almost nothing about this was designed for casuals. You're not their target demographic
@@ThomasTheTankEngine22 I mean...isn't the goal of every business to sell as many products as possible to as many people as possible? Just saying. Something like 50-60 bucks would've been more enticing to generate more sales. But hey, if a smaller group of people like you are willing to pay 80 bucks, and the company makes their profit back with that tiny target demographic, then more power to both of you. I'm happy with my 8bitdo pro 2. But I always look at other alternatives for controllers, in case one goes down. This controller with that price, ain't in my radar for sure.
@@RevengerPhoenix no. The goal is to make as much money as possible. $60 would be nice but that's not realistic. Considering that stock controllers are already $70, combined with the fact that they R&D new features and use quality parts $80 is MORE than reasonable. Other companies charge AT MINIMUM double for less. Or triple for the equivalent.
That looks nice but the x and y buttons are swapped
What game is he playing @2:34 and @7:39?
7:00 so what's your favourite d-pad ?
I'll second that. You can't tell us it's not your favorite d-pad without telling us what is. C'mon... Sheesh...
2:34 What game is this?
Witch Rise (taken from another comment)
Bro... You need to try the MobaPad M9 switch controller it's my go to favorite, but definitely give this one a try.
This controller blows the Mobapad M9 out the water. Ive tried several of Mobapad controllers and yeah.. they are like crap player 2 stuff. I dont recommend them.. but if you like them thats all that matters.
Still looking for a good switch controller under $50.
Its $60bucks i think..
What is this console?
As much as I love my 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller, I get the feeling this controller might dethrone it...
I don’t care about D-PAD or back pedals, I just want to play Splatoon 3.
Does anyone know a controller with the same feel of Thumbstick and Triggers of Retroflag handheld grip for Switch?!It is my favourite controller and I need something similar for TV mode.
Hadookees
i have one of these, had it about a week, dont use it for switch though but on my pc, its been a pretty poor controller in my experience, the triggers are inconsistent, one bumpstop feels spongier than the other, also one of the triggers has a squeeky spring, the controller constantly falls asleep, playing like a dragon infinite wealth on my pc and every time there is a cutscene it falls asleep, wouldnt normally be a problem but when i wake the controller it fails to reconnect to its dongle perhaps 50 percent of the time. Then there came the revelation that the ''mechanical'' buttons are not actually mechanical at all despite gulikit advertising mechanical switches with a lifecycle around 50 million presses... except they are not mechanical and have the standard lifecycle you would get from ordinary membrane buttons. They have all the buzzwords in the marketing, hall effect triggers and analogue sticks etc etc but it seems to be good technology put together quite poorly. the analogue sticks being hall effect ordinarily would be a good thing but as standard have zero deadzone dialled in, sounds good but in reality it leads to misclicks, like scrolling through a menu would often have me overstepping where i want to be because the analogue stick activates again even while going back to centre, there needs to be some deadzone dialled in out the box, just a small amount. Fortunately you can tweak it but its a hidden feature not even in the booklet i dont believe.
In comparison to my xbox elite series 2 controller which is broken by the way hence why i purchased this, the quality seems far higher on the elite, nicer plastics and materials in general, consistent triggers, bit more resistance in the sticks, better rear paddle positioning. its a bit more expensive and can suffer with ''old tech'' issues like drift over time, something we all love to see hall effect sticks for ofcourse but just the general build quality and materials feels better. im going to return the KK3, it dont hit the mark for me.
the motor trigger is a bug make sure to update the firmware to the newest version i had this controller on my PC for me this is better than xbox or dualsense controller i have that 2 controller and they stick drift after 6months.
returned this controller because the motion controls are abysmal compared to the nintendo pro controller and 8bitdo. it legit feels like youre playing on a 4K TV when using the gyro
Welp, this controller is a nerd chubby for sure 🤤. I am probably gonna get this so I can use it on PC too
Not the King until it comes with a damn USB port to hardwire the controller to a PC/Switch. All this technology in a great controller, and I can't hardwire it. Just ridiculous...
it kinda dissapoint me they made the trigger button not metalic lmao, this black color looks kinda blandl. better pick up the retro one
where's the headphone jack?
That's a fail for me. 🤷♂👎
👍👍™️
i wanted this controller so badly until i found out that a teardown revealed the "mechanical switches" are fake :'(
Oh really? Where did you see that?
it was posted about 2 weeks ago on r/Controller by vicyo. i would link it but it probably wouldn't show up
edit: btw the buttons are rubber domes with a clicky mechanism between the button and the dome. i don't trust gulikit now
@@Zeverinsen it looks like my reply didn't go through but it was on reddit
At that price u can get 2 Xbox controllers. Then just spend $20 on a adapter😅
If you don't need 2 controllers, you might as well have one really good one.
I never "care" about rumble until it feels gritty/rattley and is loud as crap.
I'm.not buying for the switch💀 the controller is too good for that
Looks just like a XBOX ONE controller. It’s great it has a lot of features but I don’t like it copied another controller design.
I love my gulikit controller but as of late software issues have made it impossible to use. I paid $90 for nothing a garbage piece of sh*t.
I got myself a 8bitdo ultimate controller . Never again gulikit controller's never
This controller has way too much lag wired or wireless sadly
I had to return mine
Felt great and solid but for competitive gaming its too laggy
I do competitive gaming with it no issues. Seems like a defective controller or something
@@OutsideDuhBox there's lag
It's been confirmed by many other users as well
You might not be sensitive to it
@@c2ironfist im telling you. I have a ton. E2 . Tb stealth. Nacon rev pro. The kk3 max works just as well wired on pc for me. The only posts i have seen on reddit dogging the latency show them using wireless. 😑
And not one real review on youtube so far have seen, noted, or had issues. Gamerheavens vids coming out too soon.
@@OutsideDuhBox the wireless is really bad close to unplayable
Wired isn't as bad but isn't good either

Dpad sucks for fighting games Xbox Elite Dpad is better
that control is a waste of monet, I lost my money what a bu... controller
Or just get the goat switch pro controller

Wii U Pro controller is better
I have been using mine since 2017, and it has been as reliable as ever. I might check this out as a player 2 controller, though.
@@69metersbelow25I still use my 2 Wii U Pro cobtrollers..controllers... They still work like brand new...
@@dschult3 this controller is getting a 4.2 rating on Amazon. Do you know how crappy of a product it has to be to get a 4.2?
Switch Pro controllers feel _really_ shitty, cheap, low quality, and toy-like. I understand that Nintendo makes toys while Microsoft and Sony make "hardcore gaming rigs" or whatever. However, Xbox and Switch controllers are junky, hollow and plastic. Only the PlayStation DualSense feels like it is worth $70.
