  • Japan's Nintendo has made some AMAZING systems since the 70's. Many only released domestically and some that most people have never even seen or heard of. And I bought every single retro console that nintendo ever made here in Japan (and many of the accessories) so that we could try it out!
Among that list... the Nintendo Color Game 6 and 15, Gameboy, Game & Watch, Japan's Famikon, Disk Station, the Nintendo 3D System, The Nintedo Power Glove, the Super Famikon, The SuperScope, Virtual Boy, N64, Pocket Pikachu, and more!

Wow. Your studio looks so much better now. I still remember the short tour of your studio when it was still quite empty, only tables, shamisen stage, and that smallest shop stall 😂
Good job on the decorating, Norm! 🎉

Wow, I had no idea there were so many different versions and accessories for all of the Nintendo/Famicon systems. What amazing little treasures to find at the thrift shops. Amazing, thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I’m so jealous of that Pikachu N64! I always wanted one as a kid but as I already had the original N64, my parents said no lol. I’ve owned console since then and the N64 is still my favorite!!

I am still waiting for the N64 Mini to come. I have my original N64 from the 90s that I had sent off and had HDMI added to, and it's cool and all, but I still want the mini which is ready to go with the top games!

I remember when Computers first became widely available having to program games, and word processing, and file transfer modem software, so I could enjoy it. I ran a BBS for awhile too, back in "the before time".

I used to play that super scope 6 a lot when I was young at the time. My favorite mode was the intercept mode. It teaches you shoot missiles as various distances and you have to lead on your shots to hit them.

Holy crap Norm! I knew you liked retro gaming through your previous thrift shop vlogs, but daaaaaaaaamn! This is WAY TOO COOL.
It's also damn amazing you managed to find all of that stuff (and in the conditions they're in) in the span of a year... I've been collecting for about 10 years (on and off) but some of those are absolute unobtainium here in Portugal (and Europe in general)!
I'd definitely love to see you cover more retro gaming goodness!
BTW, you should looking into some console modding, we're living in a golden era right now and every console under the sun seems to have great upgrades available, especially the portable ones!

It always makes me gasp and clutch my pearls whenever Norm slams electronics down on a table.
I didn't know Game & Watch had dual screens; fascinating.
I always found the red visuals of the Virtual Boy to be unnerving.
Great video, I learned a lot.
