True, I have a problem that is similar to drift, but not entirely the same, since my joystick doesn’t give random signals to the switch but rather gives too few signals when I move my right stick to the left. Shooters are almost impossible because of this.

Honestly I think you should get the OLED over the Lite. I haven’t ever owned a Lite, but I’ve owned both the original and the OLED, and I gotta say they massively improved the OLED model. It’s not just the kickstand and the screen, but, in my opinion, the rails on the OLED feel much more enforced and in turn makes in more comfortable. Also, I think the switch itself is slightly bigger which is nice and if you ever do use the dock, it’s bigger and has a LAN port

Perks to buying a full size switch is the joycons extra buttons, i have a ridiculous amount of time playing Factorio on the switch. Having those extra buttons allows me to organize my hotkeys for maximum efficiency. Im sure there are other use cases

This is essentially my gaming system/set up. I mainly use the dock as a charging station because my roommates hog the tv even tho it’s my tv so mostly playing handheld or on my computer.

I really like my lite. The only reason i got an oled is so i can dock/play party games easily. But rubble is nice on the joycons. I really don’t like how the joycons wobble but i guess getting a full case or a controller that the switch slides into would fix that.
Switch lite has an even smaller screen than the base switch though... i only play handheld so it made more sense to buy a second hand OLED model with the bigger screen.
I play on the Nintendo Switch (Launch Model) Docked and I use this one because the battery will degrade faster with the constant charge and I changed out the thermal paste on this unit so it can last longer and run cooler. On the go, I still play Nintendo Switch but I play my OLED model. this I manage the battery charge to 80% so I can have his unit last me a long time. Gotta love that bigger brighter OLED display. And I have a back up Switch Lite in the event I’m going somewhere too risky to bring my OLED (Forest, beach, theme park) But to answer your question, I play Nintendo Switch. I’ve been an Xbox Gamer for decades but this Gen feels like exclusives don’t matter to Xbox. So I… SWITCHED to Nintendo Switch. I’m loving all the exclusives and fun titles. So damn good.

Switch is my primary console, and it’s about a 50/50 split between handheld and docked play (similar to a worldwide Nintendo poll result a year or so back). The great thing about this is having multiple docks around the house so every room I can game in, even on my computer monitors in my office. You’d need multiple PS5’s or Xbox’s to imitate this feature. I can never go back now.🎮💯

I've been in the market for joycons and am leaning towards nyxi joycons because I think they are cool but im also having second thoughts because they are from a Chinese company and products from China are usually not good quality. then a again. switch joycons aren't that better. so I'm on the fence for new joycons. my joycons have stick drift and I sprayed perfume on them cos they have alcohol and I didn't have isopropyl alcohol that day so now they only work in handheld mode

I would recommend you for handheld the Oled with either the Hori Split pad compact or the Nbxy Joy cons. It’s great

I play much more on Tabletop Mode with a Stand and wireless controller than in handheld mode because my both joy-cons drift so much and never use them ever again
The docking station is not only used for the tv it is used for charging so you actually got you money worth on something
I love the option to put it on my tv. For parties and family gatherings. I enjoy playing handheld more now that I got a better grip for my switch.

Dock is good for when you wanna play mario games, i use hand held for grinding pokemon mostly
I use my switch for handheld, my PS5 for playing on TV, and my Xbox for staring at while playing PlayStation

The dock is for when you wanna play couch co open like Mario party (or any Mario games in specific)

Complete opposite for me. Hate handheld only use it when I’m out. Having it on a big screen is sooooo much better.
i had the same mentality until i actually got the lite, now im stuck with it unless i wanna lose my data on splatoon and pokemon.
3ds is honestly really good. Great library of games, has backwards compatability with DS games. It's pretty good
