I fitted these on my intercepter & I love em! The best advice I can give is once you fit them take your bike for a spin & TAKE THE NESSASERY TOOLS WITH YOU! You can pull over & do some fine adjustments to them & get them just how you want them! Once you got them how you want them your never need to alter them! Good video👍🏻
Absolutely! It’s what I did. One 6mm Allen key and an 8mm Allen key. I’d also recommend thread,Oct on the 10mm bolt with the spring. Mine are set, great rear view and so much better than OEM. And safer as a result. I love them!
Hi James, I've got the chance of a pair of new Stadium mirrors for £15, to good to miss, but they have the split type fixing not the half moon. Is it worth taking the chance of trying to remove the handlebar inserts to enable me to fit them ? Holding my breath, Dave.
Wow! Bargain! If I had the chance at the price, I would go for it. I’d either drill out the handlebar inserts which are very very tight in there or possibly try using a threaded rod (6mm, I believe) to go into the inserts as a ‘slide hammer’……. Basically a weight with a rod through the middle of it and whack the weight to the end of the rod (which needs a nut and big washer on it).
@@lenhartley8904just been out in mine……..the combination of positions is impressive. I had mine in a bit and tilted the rake of the mounts in the handlebars. Excellent rear vision! Someone at the local Lidl asked me if I’d restored it myself!!
