- The XUV400 is a landmark car for Mahindra. Here are three things to keep in mind.
First, it is the first modern electric from Mahindra. It is based on XUV300 but it's longer, is priced to compete the Nexon EV Max, but in terms of size it's actually competing with the likes of the MG ZS EV.
Second, a lot of performance. A zero to 100 time of 8.3 seconds is quick, and it does feel quick! So if you're looking to travel between city spend time on the highway, the XUV400 will feel really happy there.
Third, it is family friendly white cars with feel spacious and airy and so if you want to travel on weekends it will be particularly nice because it also has a large boot.

They really need to update the interiors. I loved the drive, but ended up getting the updated Nexon max for the features

same here. test drove it and for that price the interiors looked very cheap and it is also lacking on features. So I bought nexon ev max.
My only concern is lithium-ion battery of Xuv 400, it would certainly appeal and impress you initially, but the battery won't last as long as that of nexon ev which uses LFP. LFP has 50% more charge cycle atleast
And that makes mahindra really expensive compared to Tata

Agreed! But the warranty terms of the two battery packs are the same. In which case - how would you decide?
@@motorinc need to go through the terms, generally warranty doesn't cover degradation of batteries.
Xuv 400 is good.. But in this price scorpio N comes in.. Which i feel is better buy. 😅😅

There's a 100 to 0 braking test on a malayalam channel (talking cars ) and man ,this stops without any drama...but the interiors...also they should work on xuv 300's rear, because this is the original ,this feels complete than the xuv 300 at the back side .

Desperately needs a facelift inside out.. Both this and xuv300. That done, will pick it over Nexon. That Punjabi song lines - "feature dekh ke car ni lendey, engine tagde chakki Dey". (We don't buy cars for features, but for strong engines).

@@motorinc Hv driven tesla model S and toyota Camry in GCC, and the Camry was much fun while it costs a fraction of a tesla model 3 also..
Because EV vs hygreogen ICE isn't settled yet... ev may not be the future...

They're the same bike. Just pick the one you like more. The Svart will feel more comfortable because you sit more upright for most.
Hey, can you please shed some light on motorcycle longevity? I'm in the market for a new bike and most of thr offerings in the 160-200 cc spectrum usually have a lot of plastic bits/fairings that might not hold up as well over a couple of years ? I've been considering an Avenger 220 just for the reason there's not a lot of frills and it's reasonably barebones whill still retaining some character.
They're reasonably to quite good now. The top brands in the class, like TVS, make pretty decent motorcycles that don't get rattled easily

I would not buy this car yet, Mahindra was forced to roll out this unfinished product to balance out their car fleet emission as per government regulations. This will be updated within the next 1 year since XUV300 facelift will also be rolling out.
