You should definitely do a comparison Faisal. This car doesn't deserve 20L price . It doesn't tick any boxes that are required for an EV. Performance is only good when you have range to back it up. The limited range but with minial running costs make it ideal for city use. comparatively electric cars make less sense. I mean What's the point of buying a car which is 1) much more expensive than it's IC engine counterpart and 2)Cant be used to go on a road trip because of the limited range

performance and range both are good in this XUV400........but comparing it with the nexon ev max 20lakhs seems too much overpriced as nexon gives almost same performance and range with much more premium features at the same price
The 15lakh model of XUV400 makes a bit of sense though after all the subsidies compared to the nrml nexon ev...but overall nexon take it

And yes they do have different segments but comparing an ICE with ev of both different variants doesn't make sense to me 😅 as ICE cars and ev cars are priced differently and their use and overall cost is also so much different. That's why I asked not to compare Creta with an EV for now 😅😅

What do you think about the KIGER EV, spy shots came lately, and i must admit that renault in India is not how it is globally, but they ofcourse have expertise from globe, and their recent USP is Value for money, so if kiger EV comes below Nexon for pricing with same or comparable or respectable performance, stability, spacee etc. Already kiger nails space, comfort, stability, 4 star rated also, really waiting for it🙌

The test drive vehicle i drove did not have it but the showroom confirmed that they are adding it in the production model

Fortunately Mahindra has invested in improving the engineering tech on the car which is really needed than just tweaking the exterior trims that make them look after market like other manufacturing

I have Nexon EV Max, took test drive of 400, personally didnt like 400 due to dated interiors.
You have to hold the mute button for 2 sec to actually mute the sound single press is used to cut the calls.

A moron 'TOOTLAA' auto channel on CZcams ( starting with letter M ) , was telling me NMC to be expensive and better battery technology then LFP ( sply taking our hot environmental conditions into consideration) ...when I pointed out why Mahindra are using NMC instead of much safer and long charging cycles LFP CHEMISTRY battery pack.....😂😂😂😝😝🤣🤣🤣

👉Mahindra have also put a much powerful motor then Tatas in NEXON , battery being 1 kwh lesser then nexon . God knows how they claim 'BETTER RANGE' then NEXON MAX
👉Mahindra have MAPPED the modes more 'aggressively' , just to fetch better numbers then the competition ( i.e. more power for fearless mode , far lesser power for 1st mode , in comparison to NEXON)
👉why they chose NMC over much safer and better thermal management LFP CHEMISTRY?.... probably cost , and quicker power discharge ( again the number game , to show quicker acceleration )
Pls do a comparison between both IN EACH AND EVERY MODE RESPECTIVELY...( showing performance and actual range IN EVERY DRIVING MODE ) 🙏
Mahindra XUV 400 vs Nexon max would be a better comparision than zs ev or Kona ,saying this as I've driven all these electric cars and I found that in terms of performance and reliability tata and Mahindra is good ,so comparing a TATA and MAHINDRA would be better 😊

In 2023 Mahindra released car with 2015 interiors,better to do some exterior modifications and sell it as Mahindra electric auto or mini electric van, definitely not for families or individuals who want to travel on roads among other cars by paying this much amount , came to know from this video there are using worst battery type
With NMC battery it’s probable that in 6 years a battery change will be required if someone charges the car on every alternate day.
But it has an 8 years warranty on battery pack
@Ganesh Pandian Warranty is on defect, not on performance degradation. NMC battery will degrade and start discharging quickly, and you can't do anything with that warranty for it.

@Ganesh Pandian I'm not asking you. I'm telling you that after 5-6 years when battery will start discharging quickly you'll be stuck with a much smaller range and it won't be covered in the warranty because it's natural for batteries and not a defect. NMC will degrade faster than the other one.

Mahindra earlier also and still have no clue about how to woo Indian customers for Small car like XUV300 or this XUV400, one thing they know best is giving the engine, power which is superb and top of the line and rest they simply want customers don't look else where around that point, the Customer Advisors of any Mahindra Showroom( from my experience 3 showrooms ) are so ignorant if you ask about XUV300 that makes potential buyer see for alternate options of other brands cause these Mahindra Dealerships know when Thar, XUV700, Scorpio, Scorpio N is selling like cakes so why even entertain a potential customer for small car like XUV300, Around Diwali 2022 my brother was looking to buy a Sub 4 so we shortlisted 3 of them Nexon, XUV300 and Brezza( Venue and Sonet was out of picture cause Safety was priority in the buying decision, also btw Venue was shunned before safety due to its looks, claustrophobic interior and small apperance, Someone had Sonet so we know if were to buy Diesel we could have looked otherwise there was no reason to even look into it) from initial instincts and experiences, when we drove Brezza and Nexon it was clear that Brezza was out of picture( Only Petrol ) and at that similar point Mahindra had already launched XUV 300 Sportz( New Engine ) we contacted 3 of the showrooms of Mahindra in Delhi and NCR and they were so reluctant and ignorant that one of them even said the car is not launched yet, the audacity with which they were saying "No car for test drive" as soon as they heard XUV300 that made me clear what would happen even after we bought XUV300 so we clear and out dropped plans of buying XUV300 and straight away booked Nexon, I guess Mahindra is more about Big Cars and Dealerships entertain those prospective buyers and not some small car buyer even if Mahindra sells it. From that experience in future if I had the chance I would never buy a small car from Mahindra, it just makes no sense when they don't want to entertain potential buyers.
