Mahindra and Mahindra owns 60 per cent of Classic Legends, which manufactures two-wheelers such as Jawa, Yezdi, and BSA. and These bikes are made in India.
Yea. Classic Legends owns the BSA name now but bought the rights to build and sell bikes under the Jawa and Yezdi brand names in India from the Czech company Jawa. The Czech company is still producing and selling bikes
Jawa bike price starts from Rs. 1,72,942. Jawa offers 4 new models in India with most popular bikes being 42 Bobber, 42 and Perak. Most expensive Jawa bike is Perak, which is priced at Rs. 2,15,543. Jawa was founded in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, in 1929 by Frantisek Janecek. He purchased the motorcycle division of Wanderer, and the ‘Jawa’ name is the amalgamation of the first two letters of his name and Wanderer. The Jawa brand was sold in India beginning in 1960 under the Ideal Jawa brand. In 1973, they were also sold under the ‘Yezdi’ brand. Production stopped eventually in 1996. Meanwhile, internationally, 1997 saw the formation of Jawa Moto, the company that succeeded the original Jawa. It still sells motorcycles that run on its 350cc two-stroke engine to Central American countries. In addition, there is a four-stroke 660cc single-cylinder that powers its 660 range. It has recently started its second innings in India under Classic Legends, and sells the 300cc Jawa Forty Two and Standard. They will soon be joined by the slightly bigger displacement Jawa Perak

If you are a foreinger who resides in India, like Andy does, you are a Resident Alien (sounds badass for sure). This doesn't have much to do with India. Source: I am a lawyer.

Comparing Mumbai and Bengaluru is like comparing chalk and cheese. For one, the geography is completely different-Mumbai's is significantly more complex. Secondly, both have entirely different revenue generation capacities. Mumbai is in a state of infrastructure transition, so it will take a while for it to be easier to navigate. Once that happens, things should get better. Also, Bengaluru itself needs better traffic.
In Mumbai you need 60 crs to enjoy the same lifestyle that you can in Bangalore with 20 crs, in Bangalore you can get more done for less, plus cleaner air and slightly better infrastructure. Mumbai if you have 100+ crs, you can really live the best life, but if you're in the middle or upper middle with even a massive networth of 5-10 crs+, still you can only live in a slum-like 1 bhk or super small 2 bhk flat and use the stinking trains, not worth it.

So many strange things he said about India, different people think differently ,there are different stories with different people. India is a huge and diverse place with plenty of cultures and languages and also geographically it is very diverse , we have cold and snowy places like Russia. , plenty of hill stations are also there, Dessert like UAE is also there, there are plenty of beaches and huge coastal line, Lakes ,back waters , Forests , Heavy rain fall regions ,Tea and coffee gardens and many more....It is also a house to almost all religions of the world. India's foreign policies are also unique , India has superb friendly relations with almost all nations of the world (except Pakistan due to terrorism and border issue and some bitterness with china due to border disputes ) So feel free from all burdens and have a comfortable stay .

but our bigger ally is USA as so many go there to live, work and even emigrate. Who goes to Russia? Time to dump the old baggage and we will do so once we stop buying their cheap and trashy arms
This is because people of Karnataka i.e kannadigas are more polite and receptive than any other state
Correct and people from other states like UP and Bihar come here for jobs and leave a bad perspective of Bengaluru showing their ego and all.If they want stay in Bengaluru let them respect our culture and our language.
Ok😂
Bro, its not karnatka but Bharat as whole is very receptive to humans and even to demons we are forgiving. You do see jihadis preaching & practicing terror in their religious schools but we still allow then to run schools yes we talk about modernisation of them unlike Europe & America.

I loved Andy's laugh...ha ha
Come to northeast India and talk with nature , rich culture , hospitality ,land of festival ❤
I did my engineering course in Bengaluru. Now i am settled near my hometown but I miss Bengaluru a lot. Its one of the best place in India.
I really like listening to expat's views on India and their lives in different states. It's not just clickbait video like tourist vloggers do.
Cheerful guy. Knows India better and explained about India very well.
Bangalore ✅
Bengaluru ✅💖
Andy is really a nice funny guy. Great to know his experiences in India. Looking to awesome contents..
Andy seemed like a knowledgeable guy, knows what he's doing vibes 😎. We need more foreigners like him to start business in Bangalore. Thanks Max for interviewing Andy 🙏.
In late 2016, Indian conglomerate Mahindra and Mahindra acquired the Czech motorcycle firm BSA and got the license to manufacture and sell Jawa Motorcycles in the Indian subcontinent. In 2018, the Executive Chairman Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra announced the comeback of the iconic brand in India.
Thanks Andy. For showing the positive sides of India. We have very few people like you. India Loves You
Spent 10 years of my life in Bangalore. Koramangala will always hold a special place in my heart. Till today, i still find myself roaming around on foot floating across those quaint cafes and udupis in my dreams. Even ruminated over the possibility of settling and building a life here. Adulting is when you realised life has other plans in store for you. I will always miss Bangalore.
I stayed in singapore and always thought Singaporean can't survive India. Especially north India. Hatsoff to you Mr.Lim
He is staying in south india.
Max: The person you interviewed seems really smart, intelligent, well read and a keen observer of things. Very good interview. The flow of the conversation was smooth and natural. Keep up the good work!
10/10 in understanding of India. Most Indians also won't get all that correct
Our Bangalore is beautiful.... According to my experience, People are kind hearted and very friendly. It depends on persons. If we respect, we receive respect.

@@pulakification no 2025 it's not possible. India need 2040 to 2050 to be genuine. There are lots of social and infrastructure challenges.

@@Thundertrapgames rest of your comment is right but after 40-50 years… it will take at least 100 years before India can even think of becoming same like China… we have lost the battle to China just as Pakistan has lost the battle to India. Humbleness is what is needed to begin anywhere.

14:00 jawa is not dead. In the Indian market the brand JAWA Motorcycles was resurrected / relaunched in December 2018 by Classic Legends, which is owned by Mahindra & Mahindra( indian automobile manufacturing company), through a licensing deal with the original Czech company JAWA Moto.
Thats ur opinion, btw how big is ur house in mumbai?

India's foreign policies are also unique , India has superb friendly relations with almost all nations of the world (except Pakistan due to terrorism and border issue and some bitterness with china due to border disputes ) So feel free from all burdens and have a comfortable stay .
amazing person , who have understand true India and mutually benefited also . The nation standing on same spirit for thousand of years
7:52 "They look like Asians but they are Indians!"🤪
They should announce India as a Continent!
It is a subcontinent.
Yea, Being asian is more synonymous with East Asian in other parts of the world. If you really think about it Continent is farce, I mean is Europe really a continent? Its better to view world in different regions Like Middle East, South East Asia, East Asia, South Aisa, Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa. Gives more context. Also Asia is more than half the world.
@@thunkwaltz5571 Yeah. Makes sense!
He meant ASEANS, which is referred to south east Asians.

North india is quite messy 😂😂😂 love you man

He is a singaporean. I met a singaporean in london, he thinks london is dirty.
Before forming perception, we should understand he is from singapore, one of the cleanest places in the planet. Their understanding and perception of cleanliness is class apart.
PS: never seen indian men from any part of india holding pinky.
Guys whom you see holding pinky/hands are those who come to the city from rural areas from different states. They hold each others who are mostly from same native places, it’s sign of security. There are couple of studies done on same.
This guy really got to know all the things about Bangalore and Indians 😊
Singaporeans are the nicest people ! Andrew proves it. He's contrary to a lot of boisterous and very impolite Europeans/ Germans I have come across in Bangalore who are a racist bunch yet land up in our cities ! I've seen some Europeans snap their fingers at waiters here it's revolting! Wishing you lots of success Andrew!

I’ve heard Indians going to settle abroad but nowadays I’m seeing a rising trend of foreigners settling in India. How did this change happen😮
" Policies " sounds minimal but it really works if enforced correctly.
Western countries increased taxation to pay for the welfare of illegal immigrants (responsible for increasing the crime rates and the cost of living), a lot of Westerners are moving to affluent parts of Third World countries to escape these problems.

As an Indian I found the video's second half part is very very informatic .that is knowledge with intertainment.
People from abroad generally judge indian cities on the basis of Mumbai, kolkata Bangalore or Delhi, but they forget there are other beautiful and clean cities as well, and these cities may be not as well known as Mumbai, kolkata, Bangalore or Delhi but definitely these cities are more peaceful, impressive and more welcome then the cities I have mentioned above, these cities are ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Indore and vishakapatnam,
Right
Chennai is a good option
These are tier 2 cities, good for visiting but nothing to offer, for someone staying there, if it's a girl then certainly they wont, they are here to do job, not visit
Being a Tibetan, we are always grateful of Indian Government and its people.
