  • How do you remove a wheel that is seized / stuck on the vehicle and won't come off?
Check out this new trick! We build a hydraulic puller from materials you will likely already have on hand to remove a stuck rim on a dually truck.
Credit to ‪@TeoDucky‬ for giving me the idea!

thinking of the same thing. but its alloys dont know if they will take the strain.

Good question. I would probably use a shop rag to protect the finish between the chain and alloy, and then go slow applying as little pressure as necessary from the puller. I found putting some pressure on the wheel with the puller and then shocking the tire with a big hammer at the same time worked well.

But it doesn’t hurt the wheels does it?

The chains might potentially scratch the finish. I didn't notice any damage, but my dually truck is also a work truck where I'm not overly concerned about small scratches.
