Trimmer Plus Pole Saw

A quick look at the Trimmer Plus pole saw for use with string trimmer power heads. This pole saw, when connected to a 4 cycle power head, is the only way I a aware of to have a 4 cycle chain saw.

Does anyone know how to repair this troy bilt 8" ps720. My friend put straight gas in it!! HELP

New piston most likely. Pull muff. Look at cylinder wall. If there are vertical lines or scratches or aluminum smudges....the piston it toast. Possibly can hone cylinder and new piston but basically if it lost compression, it's not likely worth fixing unless it's an expensive commercial unit or your friend is able to do the work

If he put straight gas in it and did NOT run it just pour the gas out and add the 2 cycle fuel. It will be fine. if he HAS ran it, its ruined. Sorry about that.

Don't let anyone use your tools without you first making sure they are responsible and knowledgeable. Lend your friend your car too.

​@@jmaegm Yup I typically don't loan tools out but IF I do #1 it's somebody I trust #2 they are competent #3 I make sure they know how to use it and understand if they break it they buy it 😁
