Seeing as you refered to Model 3 as M3 shows that you are not a „car person”, which also explains why you prefer EVs. Good thing it’s uncommon and you have a 8 year 150.000 mile warranty. People act like battery failures happen all the time 😂 why don’t gas cars have more than a 3-4 year high mileage power train warranty standard if they’re so much more reliable
@forrestsautoreviewsofficial all electric vehicles are bad . You have to educate yourself as to why . Some folks go with the flow , but some people, look into every aspect . I actually know how lithium batteries are made . They're impossible to recycle, and extremely fragile. It's easy to total, a crash at any speed compromises the batteries integrity and once they start thermal runaway, you can't put them out . They burn at 3,000-4,500 degrees Fahrenheit. I couldn't sleep knowing something like that is in my garage connected to my power grid. Keep it. More for you.
@vancevoj1872 just because you say you're an engineer means nothing. I was involved in the manufacturing and testing of batteries for Honeywell batteries. I assure you I know exactly what I'm talking about. Keep your title to yourself.
did you say "costing only 87,000$" this is why people say the rich are out of touch. 87k for a car is ludicrous. a civic cost 30k. 57k is a lifetime of gas and lets be real. they both burn fossil fuel in the end so your not saving anything in the end.
I think it is correct to point out that 87k for a car is way too much money; however, comparing Model S with Honda Civic seems a bit out of touch of reality.
Teslas are also very reliable. Very cheap to repair and maintain (Especially the Model S) edit: happy april fools (this was a joke btw i know teslas are not that reliable)
It’s too early to tell imho. And the problem with newer cars isn’t necessarily reliability, but it’s repairability. Too many digital/electronic systems to be a truly dependable car as it ages. Also you can pretty much only get the car repaired at Tesla service centers so the prices are ridiculous too.
I just rented a Tesla and absolutely hated the experience. The driving I felt was sub par as was the electronics. Charging was also an absolute nightmare since a ton of the chargers are out of order.
$86k for a car! Only $18 if you charge at home. Fast charging is a lot more expensive. The supposed savings to recharge over buying gas is nonexistent when the up front cost is so high. It’s actually a net loss when you consider the resale value and the interest you’d pay on the financing

Best everyday car , I keep telling people . “But who wants to charge for an hour, gas takes 5 minutes”
You can go to the charger for 5 minutes just like you can put 5$ on pump 2 or you can fill it up .
You end up at so many cool places or areas to charge . It’s amazing

Anyone doubting Tesla at this point is just behind the times honestly.. I got my 2024 M3 this past Sunday and I can’t see myself going back to gas ever in my life
Tesla is build quality issue
Not being anti EV
There are many good EVs like gv70 Ariya 3008-e and so on
Again tesla is not bad per say but just cuz some wok doesn’t like it doesn’t necessarily means they don’t like EV as a whole
@@GreatTaiwanStill behind the times. Build quality was an issue up until a few years ago, they’ve improved recently
@@GreatTaiwan are you still in 2021 ? chinese and german buy model Y like hot cake.
I’m glad you enjoy your model 3,
but please don’t refer to it as an M3, that term is strictly reserved for BMW. Yes, the BMW that is polluting the planet faster and is slower in a drag race.
Seeing as you refered to Model 3 as M3 shows that you are not a „car person”, which also explains why you prefer EVs.
EVs are a perfect vehicle for people who treat cars as a method of transportation. Nobody denies that. The problem is with how they sell them as more sustainable and eco solution. Which they definitely aren’t for now.
Thank you for being reasonable about Teslas. They have benefits as well as downsides, like every car.

"And it will automatically stop working if you say something wrong on the internet."
You know that's not limited to electric cars only, right?
@@telengoboy Yeah, but they have to physically stop you. Either by drones or other physical means. EVs however, they can just hack it to do their bidding.
Do you not realize the amount of electronics in gas vehicles. The drivetrain is not the thing thats gonna stop you. They can disable your gas car too.
As it should
"only costs 86k" like that is attainable for an average person
One a side note, buying a Tesla is so easy. I wish other car dealers had the same buying process.

Replacing the battery is stupidly expensive
Good thing it’s uncommon and you have a 8 year 150.000 mile warranty. People act like battery failures happen all the time 😂 why don’t gas cars have more than a 3-4 year high mileage power train warranty standard if they’re so much more reliable
"ONLY" 😭
You can't sell me a Tesla with a million dollar check.
Fact: Tesla isn’t that bad.
🫂 yea! My men 🗿
@forrestsautoreviewsofficial all electric vehicles are bad .
@@g4doAs an engineer, I can confirm that you have no idea how batteries work.
@vancevoj1872 just because you say you're an engineer means nothing. I was involved in the manufacturing and testing of batteries for Honeywell batteries. I assure you I know exactly what I'm talking about. Keep your title to yourself.
“Is that my bestie, in a Testie” 😂
Ultimate sleeper IMO. 1020HP / 1050lb/ft of torque and quicker than a McLaren P1. If you option the carbon ceramic brakes, you cap out at 216 MPH.
And you do it all in silence 😂 I’ll take the McLaren
It’s not a sleeper. Everyone knows what it is.

did you say "costing only 87,000$" this is why people say the rich are out of touch. 87k for a car is ludicrous. a civic cost 30k. 57k is a lifetime of gas and lets be real. they both burn fossil fuel in the end so your not saving anything in the end.
Genuinely can’t tell if this is a sponsor or not
I think it is correct to point out that 87k for a car is way too much money; however, comparing Model S with Honda Civic seems a bit out of touch of reality.

@futuristic_car_channel Model S build quality has improved significantly since inception

Seems actually pretty worth it considering the lifetime cost between refueling and the virtually zero service intervals
Why did those headphones look like the ring doorbell camera 😂😂😂

You can pick these up in the $50k’s now, excellent value imo. I’ll be even more tempted when they fall into the 40’s 😎
You forgot to mention that it also has pretty much the best sound system of any vehicle...
86 grand for a megaphone?
Baaaaaaahahahahhhaaahaha
$86k for a car! Only $18 if you charge at home. Fast charging is a lot more expensive. The supposed savings to recharge over buying gas is nonexistent when the up front cost is so high. It’s actually a net loss when you consider the resale value and the interest you’d pay on the financing
You forgot to mention that it's another $20,000 for the 200mph top speed because a performance package is required.
$18 for a full charge??😮😮 CA electric rates are crazy!
