Loved this! Some serious skill and work ethic all around. Would love to see a list or another video from you guys of what TO DO and what NOT TO DO if you are building a shed or tiny house you plan to move. Just watching got me thinking about: 4x4 beams running length wise as skids and supports, but how far apart, close together, for the mule to get under? Maybe a 4x4 beam on both ends, with a half lap join like Lincoln logs for structure? A wide flat place on both ends, not a door or window for the upper bar of the mule? Possibly with some extra studs on both ends? Or a temporary protective board from corner to corner to spread the load more than just the mule top bar? Thanks for taking the time to film this while you worked.

An ideal footing is gravel with a wood frame (to keep it together). It's perfect for mud probe areas and places with wet clay, like here in Virginia. I see sheds all the time on some precarious concrete blocks, often on a hill, but that would scare me. This one is huge, so I'd go for the prepared gravel for drainage and stability.

Your world view that people will only do the bare minimum is flawed. This man on many if not most of his videos goes far beyond what is required in his job description to accommodate and make life easier for the folks he deals with. He does not get paid more for doing so.
I wonder if leveling a shed is the same as building almost two foot tall piers and the owner not so much as agreeing on a plan beforehand. Seems like determining what to build for the foundation of your house would be in the preparation/planning stage instead of done on the fly after it was delivered, the blocks counted, and a calculator brought out to see what could be built with them.

I bought a 2" by 12" wood plank and cut it 5 foot long and then lay it across the forks on my mule. Then I load the block flat across the 5 feet of board, then stacked layers of block to carry them like he was trying to do. 2 blocks high, 5 across for 10 blocks then extras on the next layer.
They don't fall off because they are spread across the board then stacked on each other. I normally could carry about 12 blocks before the mule could not lift without tipping forward. My mule did not have tracks, just the tractor style wheels.
Then I would just drive around the building dropping block where it was needed.
I stored the 5 foot long 2x12 board between the cab and the mule carrier on the truck.
I used it on all deliveries to carry my block (and tools on top the blocks).
