    Congrats Cpl Harrison,
I served under a Gynsgt Harrison back when 2/7 was on area 62 Camp San Moteo. Back in day of my Regimental SgtMjr was a WWII - Korea - Veitnam Marine, SgtMjr was on the Canal with my dad's brother, so I had someone looking over my shoulder for 3 years, so I was blessed. But in actuality, I had someone above looking over me, so my blessings came from above.
Hope you can acknowledge your blessing, you'll walk in a greater blessing, your walking with some great men (ya, I'm acknowledging all the fine WMs with this same sentence), Semper Fi.
106mm RR Plt., H&Sco., and Golf co. 2nd Bn., 7th Marines. Back when "1stSgt's hill was called hill 7.
Keep up the Good work, God Speed, God Bless, and God Bless the Marine Corps.
PS, you can use the name of Jesus, you're defending that right, right now. So God bless you in Jesus name.
    Kelly R. Daniels
    an old Marine, Semper Fi

When I picked up Corporal, I had to walk the gauntlet and every NCO in the company punched me in each arm at the same time and knee’ed me in both thighs at the same time. Then I had to step to the next 2 NCOs for the same thing. Echo Co 2/5 back in 1987. And there were a lot of NCOs in the company. There were no smiles and hand shakes like this. Promoted corporals nearly got crippled and it was the norm. And the Captain, Lieutenants, First Sergeant, Gunnys, Staff Sergeants, split into the barracks while it happened.

Right, because if they don't see the hazing, it's not happening.

@@stabbymcsharp5737 They don’t do it anymore. But I got nailed hard by every NCO in the company. Now, they would get thrown in jail. It’s a gentle and kinder Corps. It’s sad. Bunch of panzies now.

Why right before the platoon leaders end their salute for the report in, someone says your welcome? I’m in JROTC just curious thanks.
