I recently got one on iOS 11. It was brand new sealed but the seller decided to not only open it but to take it to a third party repair shop which completely scratched the frame while replacing the battery.
iOS 11 X’s are really hard to find, unfortunate how the repair shop messed up the frame. That’s happened to me multiple times from the Genius Bar on devices.

The scratch? I tried picking up a PC side panel with a small chip in the corner, and it turns out that glass sticks out a lot further than it looks.
