The iPhone 15 Can't Be Fully Transparent?

- Apple announced something unexpected with the new iPhone 15 and 15 plus models this year. The 15 and 15 Plus feature “color-infused” back glass, something they claim is an industry first. In this video, we find out precisely what they meant by this, and make the world's first-ever custom-modded iPhone 15. By scraping away the paint on the rear end of the backglass, we can create transparent glass that should look absolutely spectacular. This process is both tedious and time-consuming but we think the results will speak for themselves.

Absolutely gorgeous. Reminded me of when the transparent back glass mod for the iPhone 4s was $12.99. 2 screws, 2 minutes, and you didn’t have to break any seals to swap it. Just 2 months shipping and you were the coolest cat in school.
I remember seeing iPhone 4’s and 4S’s in a bunch of strange colors back in the day. Such a cool thing, would be nice if it made a comeback.
@@TheErrorInBlack I think it wouldn’t sell well based on the fact that they canceled the mini iPhones which potentially was the closest thing we’ve gotten to them bringing back the 4’s despign.
I remember when by dad cracked his iPhone 4s and replaced the screen with screen with blue for the boarder instead of white. It looks so cool to this day.

- not everyone want to see internal components
- they don't want to make the iPhone look like a piece of tech, but like a stilish device, so Apple logo at the center.

Also I wonder how it would look if you applied a colored film instead of white to enhance the saturation of the panel. So many options, and this explains a lot of why the colors look the way they do…

I thought that your transparent iPhone mod couldn't get any cooler since, you know, Apple being Apple. But dang you pulled it off with significant improvement to the cleaness throughout the process while being indestructive! I don't usually give any video a like but I did on this one. @@PhoneRepairGuruhere a good idea for a video buy older refurbished iPhone so there not two years old. So there can be more problems because there older and see if you can find any good or bad things about each one. I just think that getting iPhone that are only one to two years old isn’t going to have that many problems with them, but if you get older ones that most likely won’t happen. Like maybe in a iPhone 10 or older. Idnk just in video idea for you.

This is hands down one of the hottest mod’s I’ve seen by far! Apple has been having coolest phone interior for such a long time. Props to you and your camera man doing great job carefully peeling off the vinyl. 👌🏼👍🏼

Why tf trade in if you can sell the phone for more than the original value on ebay with the transparent back, even without it you get more selling it yourself than doing the trade in, for my 13 pro max they give me les than 400€ when I sell it for 880 on ebay myself xd

As long as your not bending the phone with your entire strength, or dropping it off of 2 story buildings, it should be fine
(Referencing Jerryrigeverything and the guy who broke the cameras off after dropping it from a two story building 14 times)

They had to cut costs on production lol, ngl that could actually be it
if I had to guess, they're probably using last year's assembly, as opposed to the pros, which are different enough to not be able to use the same one from last year.. if people weren't complaining about the pros not having it, they'd probably remove it from the normal 16 as well next year. Why they didn't make a new metal piece.. time, money, or they figured it wouldn't be necessary. When dropping the phone on its back not having the plate might actually be beneficial, but clearly not the case when applying pressure to it.

Nice. I’ve always tried to modify my iPhones, but I’m always a little scared to modify my newest phone. I’ve made a few from buy mid-frames, clear back glass which I would paint to whichever colour I felt like at the time. And a few 7+, 8+ square bodies with different coloured buttons. Yes, I’ve spent hours scraping off the paint too, trying to avoid the 🍎logo🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️. So much work but the end product is so good.
