Every 96-99 cr125 I find has the old school style forks swapped onto them, does anyone know why that is? They all had inverted forks for those years right?

Gotta be the most fun backyard track I've seen (not including the mega compounds that bubba etc have,I'm talking a make do with what's available type track with a few tweaks) you never disappoint Carson,every video is great,and the two-stroke videos are a real nostalgia trip!

Had a 84 89 96 cr125, and a 95 cr250, still have a 87 and 94 cr125 and a 94 250, they look awesome and they are hondas but can’t compare to anything modern.. prolly gonna sell those 125s off.. even though the 87 is my favourite.
I had a 2015 yz125 before, engine wise top end the cr’s are similar, but everything else.. and turning, they feel very nimble though! And I love how my 87 revs out so high

get the 1998 year model crankcases pair them up with 2007 year model crankshaft, along with 1992 year model cylinder and 1991 head with honda cr250 airbox and 38mm keihin pj carburetor and you have a lot of power but no bottom end whatsoever but very powerful!

If you take the 95 cylinder and put it on the 96 more power. Also put a spacer plate between the pipe like a 1/4 " at outlet on the head.
That’s how I’ve always rode 2 strokes. Even 500s and I only weigh 165lbs. But throttle is either on(wide open) or off.
