Just wanted to let you guys know that the dealership did reach out to me and wanted to make things right. While I declined (as I have already fixed the bolt and what not) I do appreciate them reaching out to me and offering to take care of any issues with the bike. They also stated that the communication from the service department to the salesmen was lacking, and that they did say it would be around 1 1/2hrs to get the bike ready (stated they needed to charge the battery because it was low). So there's that, just wanted to let you guys know. Thanks.

I've bought a lot of new dirtbikes and I've learned that it's not usual to walk in to a store and purchase a bike and leave with it all in one action. It always takes a few days up to a week. But yeah I was surprised the first time that I learned that too.
I was going to buy a 2020 YZ125X, but the seat was too tall for me, so I went with a 2020 TTR230 and have been riding it 1-2 times a week since. No problems at all.
its a ttr230, just keep the air filter clean and change the oil every so often she will last 20 years... they are bullet proof farm bikes, tho you will get board of the lack of power, its a great starter bike, look into a power up jet kit and air box mod and remove the muffler screen, itll wake up the bike some as they are chocked up from the factory and run damn lean
@@stunessa1 Understood. But, at my age, I'm not going to grow any taller, so I'll stick with this bike. Also, the trails I ride are steep and rocky (Windrock Park, East TN) check youtube videos.

doing my 3rd Supermoto conversion, something I learned, but a 2nd chain. swaping dirt wheels and street, different sprockets, different chain length. I'm in longmont, let me know if you wanna rip!

Im a working mechanic at a honda dealership while i dont know nothing about bike i can tell you that it happen regularly that customer wait for their car because the seller always tell everybody that their car is gonna be ready in a short time without even tchecking with the guy that run the service center ! Most of the time we are book to the top and we do evertime at night to deliver the stupid promise of the sails man

Great idea going Supermoto, you've got me buzzing to build one. Just need a new knee (or two) first. A friggin KX80 of all things snapped my ACL first and working out on the heavy bag did it the second time, the moral of the story is only ride big bikes and don't workout!
Good looking bike man as I used to race dirt bikes Yamahas were always my go to bike and I can only imagine how u felt easy 8 to nine grand for that and u had every right to be upset it’s a shame they treat customers that way but that’s how some things go hopefully they see this and change things can’t wait to see the look of it

Good thing you didn’t buy a 2019 Honda crf450x I had one and nuked the motor at 5 hours ended up having a bad surface for head gasket I was able to get my 10k back luckily
