I love POV for showing the cards in hand. Ever thought of having a go-pro on your chest? Playtest IRL somehow gets his camera to be more direct on in his pov videos and I like that. Congrats on the win!
I don't own a go-pro right now though I do see the pros. The real camera setup is so bulky and people kept kicking the tripod behind me. Maybe I get one down the line, it is definitely way more convenient to use and gives a better viewing angle. Thanks for the comment!
0:44 is there a reason why you didn’t dump most of your frogs besides maybe keeping uni and another swap in the deck? As a new frog player I’ve heard and seen most people dump all their frogs so all thats left is bombs, so I was curious on your choice. Thanks!
You will sometimes want to dump your frogs depending on what cards your opponent has set up. If your toad is likely to die next turn, you should dump your frogs. If toad can live through your opponent's turn, you can convert your treeborn frogs into other frogs with substitoad for +1s. On the next turn, since I didnt tribute my toad, i was able to convert the bodies on field into another dupe frog + unifrog which is way more threatening than just a dupe lock. I like to keep 1 swap, 1 dupe, and unifrog left in deck if I'm leaving toad on the field on the field. If they only set 1 monster on their turn and I draw into a monarch on my turn, you can tribute treeborn for the monarch then self tribute toad for swap frog, swing with both then bounce the monarch in m2 to apply way more pressure than just auto-piloting a dupe lock

Cause you have sub + dupe on the field and another swap in your hand. So by dumping 1 more swap and sub from your deck you would avoid drawing into it, unless you wanted to draw those?

28:21 Would you mind explaining your decision to banish the set monster instead of treeborn? Came to me as a possible sided Snowman as the only option worth banning istead of taking one o frog out of the game
That was in game 1. He has another treeborn in grave and we know his set is dupe frog. If I banish treeborn, he doesnt really lose any card advantage since there's another treeborn in grave meanwhile dupe frog would get swap frog which is a dangerous card in the mirror (can bounce monarchs, poke open boards without worrying about monarchs on my turn after bouncing to hand). The question is essentially: Do I give him a swap frog or no swap frog? No swap frog in hand+2 treeborns in grave is a better trade than 1 treeborn in grave+1 swap frog in hand
