They go down 'On The Farm' and pick out a standout Mariners' minor leaguer, pick a 'Russell Wilson Umpire Of The Week' and close out the show with 'Speak Your Mind'.

"Fans need off days too" should be the motto for this season I feel like
😂😂😂
Mitch Haniger was a nostalgia move for the Mariners. They took a flyer on him, the fans got behind him and supported the trade...it just hasn't worked out.
It’s more so trying to get off Robbie contract bc he’d be our 4th guy in rotation , no sense in paying a guy 25M a year for that. We turned him into Haniger and Polanco which filled 2 massive holes at the time
@@FriendlyNeighborhoodGentileyou get outta here with all that context and reason haha … you won’t make many friends in this fandom…
@Lyle were you at the game Friday night “J.P. Bobble head night”? I thought I saw you but wasn’t 100% sure lol
If you ask me JP is way better going to his right this year because Josh Rojas has been covering a ton of ground to his left and helping JP out.
That could be part of it! Awesome that they’re both playing so well defensively
Good point
I don’t care what Robbie’s stats were because the eye test told me he was awful. There is a reason they put him in the bullpen for the playoffs instead of starting.
As a giants fan i really dont know what to expect, but putting a struggling pitcher in a more pitcher friendly park with minimal expectations (i mean winn and snell have 7+ era’s) might be a good change of scenery for the guy. Excited to see what him and cobb bring to the table after the break. Also great to see the mariners thriving.
Are we approaching the end of the Dipoto era?
Rob ray
I was always leery of this trade. I had a hard time seeing the upside then, as it didn't she payroll, and there was very little reason to expect Haniger to have a good season. Pitching depth is so valuable, especially when 2/5 of your rotation has never pitched a full season in their careers.
I said it then and im saying it now, i like mitch. Was happy to see him come back to seattle as maybe a bench piece rotating dh stand in right if needed once a week. I did not like this trade at all. It was a clear salary dump and mitch was a fan pleaser move. Theres too many Dh types on this team. Id much rather have robbie ray coming back soon and not had mitch all year. I agree tommy pham would have been perfect. $$$ is the issue here.
I was NOT excited with this deal at the time and still hate it. It was a salary dump is all. Haniger is done. I hate salary dump deals.
SELL THE FUCKING TEAM, JOHN YOU SKIN TAG
Not IT WAS A DUMP $$$$$$$.
You absolutely can climb Rainier without a guide. YOU would just get your ass kicked, fall in a crevasse, and fucking die.
😂😂
“I’m in hell right now”
😂😂😂😂
I don't think there is regret with the trade. The Giants won the trade, but this is only a question because of Bryan Woo's health. So when the trade was made, it made sense and we all loved that it helped us acquire Jorge Polanco. Right now, today, he would be nice have. But I don't regret the trade. The logic was sound when it was made. And he's been hurt. No telling if he will be good when he comes back.
I'd rather have Woo in the rotation, honestly. If they need to address the rotation they should go add Jack Flaherty from Detroit. Just my opinion. Keep it up guys!
Thanks so much for watching! Flaherty is an interesting trade candidate, but is probably gonna cost a decent amount with the season he’s had. Guessing the Mariners might use their resources elsewhere if they make a big trade at the deadline (but we’ll have to see!)
Mitch is done
any team that would trade a strong starting pitcher for an aging outfielder just because they want to shed dollars is a lousy organization. And THAT is the truth.
The Ray Haniger trade was nothing more than a PR move and of course ownership’s favorite: a salary “dump”
Lyle you are correct they could’ve kept Ray and signed Pham for that right handed platoon with canzone
