I can so relate. After 6 years of divorce, I focused on Christ and myself. And unexpectedly walking in a grocery store, this man approaches and he exceeds what I prayed for. I was told I have high standards and what I'm looking doesn't exist. God gives us what we need and the cup over flows.
I've been thinking that what I'm looking for does exist, but he's already married at this point in his life, so it's not happening. The chances of a God fearing man my age who is okay with my baggage, and can respect my purity is even available is a pretty slim chance, so I'm kind of just accepting that it may not be God's will for me to be married. So I'm just focusing on the here and now- what God has entrusted me with thus far. If He wants me to have a mate, I believe He will bring that person into my life.

Trust in Him that there's going to be a spouse ordained for you and your son. I have been struggling with unbelief and afraid of getting my hopes up after so many false starts and hurts. It hurts to hope. But that verse that you quoted, Ephesians 3:20, I'm trying to hang on to. Have been a Christian 12 years and have only dated two guys in that time, less than six months each. Trying to have hope at 30 years old.
This is sooo TRUE, I had lost faith in relationships, started to Love God so deeply, and Focused on him. Then he LOVED me back sooo dearly and blessed me with the Best Man I would have never imagined. We connected so instantly on the first day with similar values ... and want the same things IN life. It's been emotionally draining and now finally I have come to terms with the fact that the rshp is now OFF... I had the same experience finding my wife. I waited 13 years after I prayed really hard to find someone but in 2000 I finally did. For about 20 years now, I've been married to a wonderful, God fearing woman from the Philippines. I can see now why God had me wait so long because she is so right for me and I would not have been happy with anyone else.

And He did it in He confirm it to defferent people in my ministry.and thats when I realize the guy that ive been talking with is the one .. we met in feb. And we married in juin 2022 this years. We need to put our trust in God no matter what age we have. Lack of patient can faile us and im 45 my husb. 42 thats happen just because i was patient because when God is not at the center of our relationship spacially when you are a christian it is in open door for the enemy to attack you.

I had the same experience finding my wife. I waited 13 years after I prayed really hard to find someone but in 2000 I finally did. For about 20 years now, I've been married to a wonderful, God fearing woman from the Philippines. I can see now why God had me wait so long because she is so right for me and I would not have been happy with anyone else.

And He did it in He confirm it to defferent people in my ministry.and thats when I realize the guy that ive been talking with is the one .. we met in feb. And we married in juin 2022 this years. We need to put our trust in God no matter what age we have. Lack of patient can faile us and im 45 my husb. 42 thats happen just because i was patient because when God is not at the center of our relationship spacially when you are a christian it is in open door for the enemy to attack you.
