Idk my hair has responded well to these products overall! I stopped using oil as well, so I think that may have been adding a lot of build up. I just keep it simple and haven’t been experimenting much. Just letting it be and wearing it out more

Do you comb your hair in the shower? I don't think you mentioned that part.
I mostly finger detangle but sometimes I comb through it too!
What are your thoughts on hair oils? Do you use them?
My curly hair stylist recommended I don’t do oil. So I stopped! My hair has been fine since and less build up
