My mom did this, she told God at a very young age that she didn’t want a boyfriend, at the age of 18 she saw my dad at a church in Germany. Days went by and she couldn’t get him off her mind, and eventually some Sundays past he approached her and said God spoke to him and said that she was his wife. 40 years later, 4 daughters and 12 grandchildren they are still happily married, they still date and are still in love.

I had a friend in college who did this. She never had a boyfriend, ever.! Her friend asked her to marry him and after he asked her to marry him he courted her for a year while planning the wedding.

Yep. I was 34 and said I'm done Lord. Its You and me. I was content in my singleness. And then God began to put things in work. My hubby and I started talking in October 7th, 2018, got married September 7th, 2019. I was one week from turning 37. Got pregnant March 2020..Had our daughter at age 38 December 2020. Our problem isn’t necessarily having too many boyfriends or girlfriends, it’s the dang situation-ships. That’s what’s messing everything up. We have this misconstrued idea of how we should go about dealing with the opposite sex in intimate ways. A lot of people don’t grow out of that mentality or from that perspective and that’s what’s hindering our ability to be what we need for each other to even approach the idea of marriage.

I grew up in the church and the message of being unequally yoked was embedded in me. All the women in my family are married. My children's father entire family is unmarried. We're living in the same household, but we're most definitely in our own world, and I've accepted that. I went against God's will and I have no desire to date. Yup, this is how it’s supposed to be done. My husband and I were friends. God told him to marry me and we courted for 2 years before being engaged. I wanted to finish school first but honestly we didn’t need that long. We did not “try each other out” which is essentially what dating is. His intention was to marry me and that’s what he led with.
She’s Absolutely spot on. Our God works mysteriously! This is how my husband and I also met. We didn’t date, God confirmed our union each day we spoke and prayed and done bible studies together as pure friends, with nothing more to it. When we could not avoid Gods daily confirmations that we ought to be together thru so many means He used to tell us, one way was thru a Hindu Uber driver who knew nothing of Jesus, said with his own mouth that Jesus is blessing our Union and that my husband who was on call with me had the light of God on him. I’m from SA and my Husband from the USA , we met online in October 2022 after I told the Lord I was content with just Him and I and it was then that the Lord expedited everything, we spoke irregularly online for 3 months, saw Gods signs each day and til this day as well, on New Year’s Eve we went from being SINGLE to being MARRIED, in spirit. We met for the first time in March , got engaged in April married in October 2023. Our God is intentional! I strongly believe in what She said cause it’s happened to us the very same way.

Something similar happened with a friend of mine. She was best friends with this guy for a while and had feelings for him (but didn’t tell him). Then one day he looked at her and said, “You’re my wife.” They got married and the rest is history.

Yep. I was 34 and said I'm done Lord. Its You and me. I was content in my singleness. And then God began to put things in work. My hubby and I started talking in October 7th, 2018, got married September 7th, 2019. I was one week from turning 37. Got pregnant March 2020..Had our daughter at age 38 December 2020. God knows and his timing is definitely best. If i would have gotten married to any of those other men it would have been a hot mess.

My mother told me about 2 yrs ago that Christians don’t date; ofc me being 21 and still immature in my faith, I argued her down and completely rejected what she’d said. Fast forward now, after 2 yrs of failure and frustration in the dating landscape, I realize that my mother was right. Now I’m completely celibate and disinterested in dating. Divorced for 2 years, I'm single and healing. Here comes a brother I serve with in church and he ticks so many boxes, after telling him I have feelings for him, he didn't say anything. She's right. A few months ago my future husband showed up. We spoke for 7 hours the first time. He knew right away but stayed silent. A few weeks later he says God sent me you, and sent you me. Everything else is semantics, we will never be apart again. My father told me this would happen, that the love of ones life will bring you true peace and calm, that the man will know immediately while the woman will not until he shows her his dedication to the Lord Almighty. I'm older, early 40's, and had waited so long for this, not dating for years a d keeping to myself. No one compares ro how I feel utterly safe, secure and loved in his precense. Our problem isn’t necessarily having too many boyfriends or girlfriends, it’s the dang situation-ships. That’s what’s messing everything up. We have this misconstrued idea of how we should go about dealing with the opposite sex in intimate ways. A lot of people don’t grow out of that mentality or from that perspective and that’s what’s hindering our ability to be what we need for each other to even approach the idea of marriage.

I grew up in the church and the message of being unequally yoked was embedded in me. All the women in my family are married. My children's father entire family is unmarried. We're living in the same household, but we're most definitely in our own world, and I've accepted that. I went against God's will and I have no desire to date. I take the L and have learned to fall in love with my own company. God does not force his hand but he will allow things to unfold eventually. I'm seeing it all so clearly. Yup, this is how it’s supposed to be done. My husband and I were friends. God told him to marry me and we courted for 2 years before being engaged. I wanted to finish school first but honestly we didn’t need that long. We did not “try each other out” which is essentially what dating is. His intention was to marry me and that’s what he led with.

When we could not avoid Gods daily confirmations that we ought to be together thru so many means He used to tell us, one way was thru a Hindu Uber driver who knew nothing of Jesus, said with his own mouth that Jesus is blessing our Union and that my husband who was on call with me had the light of God on him. I’m from SA and my Husband from the USA , we met online in October 2022 after I told the Lord I was content with just Him and I and it was then that the Lord expedited everything, we spoke irregularly online for 3 months, saw Gods signs each day and til this day as well, on New Year’s Eve we went from being SINGLE to being MARRIED, in spirit. We met for the first time in March , got engaged in April married in October 2023.
Our God is intentional! I strongly believe in what She said cause it’s happened to us the very same way.

We have free will, so if God’s ways aren’t installed in a person as a child, 9/10 they will start with doing things the way they see fit based on their upbringing and environment. Megan Good and that pastor are a typical example. Those who live by the street always answer when the street calls. As much as i would pray and hope that relationships work, we as humans adapt. There are habits or patterns that can not be left behind easily when adapted over a period of time. I meant no bad feelings by my earlier post. I, however, hope that we normalise telling young women/men to make better life/ relationship choices.

This shows no accountability for what she did in her twenties and why men probably will not want her or desire in any possible way a whole group of young women to believe that men are going to want them no matter what they do how they act and it's very very untrue. Misleading this group of young people that are so impressionable that they will believe anything and everything that makes them feel good instead of what is reality is a problem that's why I hate watching these videos.
