BMW breaks on the first day

"I'll never own a BMW" - Dads Garage early in his career
Same day we drove it off the used car lot the car had a problem. Things happen. I even looked under the hood when I bought it and figured I could make it work.
We got the car cheap after my wife's previous car was totaled in a rear end collision.

I’m sure you can get it somewhere. Manufactures are stingy like that, but they’re required to give some access to emissions and service data.
It’s there if you look hard enough or use Identifix which includes OEM service manuals for many makes and models.
