Imagine if black ops 3 was about mason and what he did in those 30 years
Then it wouldn't be called BO3. But Imagine this, imagine if BO3 had a Grandson of Mason as the Protagonist and he reflects on Mason's life and death (by old age). But yeah we need more info on what he did in those 30 years.

Rest In piece Mason, Reznov and Woods. They were in the game for a long time. Reznov was in the game ever since World at War and survived until Call of Duty Black ops. I'm happy that I got to see Woods and Mason in Call of Duty Cold war.

@@Finn_the_Cat Reznov dies, but he dies in Call of Duty Black Ops. He dies after the breakout in Vorkuta, and Reznov's counter-brainwashing is the entire reason Mason thinks that he's still alive.
@@skinlizard2251 But BO2 makes it truly ambiguous when Resnov appears in the desert to save them. It doesn't make sense, it shouldn't be possible. They had no water it was *Resnov* who gave mason water from his flask. It's never explained; impossible to know for sure, and I love the story for it.
@@XXMatt0040XX Oh absolutely, probably my favorite part of that game simply because it's a moment that doesn't ever give you a concrete answer. I think there are more implications that Reznov could be alive later in the series, like, in Cold War or BO4 or something, too, but I'm not quite sure.

@@jairrayas3832 what I found interesting about black ops 3's campaign is, if you looked back at the text scroll after the the first mission, you see your character "died on the operating table". meaning the entire campaign after the first takes place in only a couple hours as the last thoughts/memories of a dying man
@@stig4 no no theres more to it and its fucked up. I believe ive watched one or two half an hour long videos where they explain the campaign and yes i think you die there after first mission, but that mission is actually the last(theres some kind of proof in one of the cutscenes if i remember corectly) and all other missions that you play are in the mind of that guy taylor. It turns out that the team that you hunt throughout the game is actually completely other team and you just see them as taylors/yours team. (i say yours team because at the end of the game you say your name is taylor)
(and i believe you can find out about that other team in between two missions, when you are picking your loadout theres a computer with info about them). Huh i dont now if any of this makes sense to you but i look at the campaign this way. I dont know how to explain you should watch the video

Bruh when I first finished the campaign I didnt even expect the zombies mode to pop in
In Bo2, to keep mason alive, shoot him in the leg and when he falls, shoot him in the leg again to keep him alive. Also, in the final mission, kill menendez so Woods does not die.
When I did that I got a pretty satisfying ending.

That plane being blocked on the Runway actually happened in real life and it was the original frogmen who were there. 4 of them stayed behind and all died so the rest of the team of 9 could leave. It was called operation just cause

You gotta admit. Menendez was one crazy man, but a lot of his stuff was vengeance. His speech with David, this was about his loss due to Woods actions. You sort of feel bad for him but at the same time, glad he’s dealt with once and for all.

This is the series I want a remake of. Close to scene for scene, just updated graphics and small changes here and there where improvements make sense. The storyline is awesome, the characters are great, and the combat was arguably the best Call of Duty ever had.
You know? as a young kid I never really paid any attention to the main stories in video games, all I ever did was listen to what the objective needed me to do and skip all of the cut scenes in the games, but now that I go back and play them with a clear conscious and give the game's story my undivided attention, I can honestly say that these two games are a huge portion of my childhood and that I'm glad that I was able to enjoy it for what it was.

Actually in this timeline, during Mason's hallucination after escaping interrogation, you hear him say/think "Oswald. Compromised." This is in reference to Lee Harvey Oswald, JFK's killer. The game is making the theory that Mason's resilience against the ability to kill JFK failed, so the Russians used Oswald.

Also when the twist is revealed and Mason escapes from the chair, during the flashback where he met JFK, a single gunshot can be heard.
And it's confirmed that Mason was there in Dallas the day JFK died
Surely it proves the opposite. That Mason was the second shooter in the assassination attempt and he was reporting that Oswald, his partner, had been compromised (probably reporting it to Dragovich, or talking to himself). This theory is backed up by the fact that Mason was photographed at the event and Hudson said there were times when Mason went MIA. The clear indication is that Mason was involved in the assassination of JFK. What we don't know is if hes the one to pull the trigger, or Oswald. But they clearly were working together.
The actual canon ending is when Frank and Menendez play with Avenged Sevenfold. Honestly you should have known that buddy
