CORRECTION! The K900 is only offered this year with a turbocharged V6, with no V8 option. Big thanks to C&D and Motor Trend for getting this wrong. Last time I rely on them for info!

I own a 4.9 meter length car, and i don't have any blind spots on my sides.
the reason people have blind spots it's because they adjusting their mirrors to show their cars, that way they're wasting mirror-space that can be used to show the surrounding lanes.
It's also a big mistake to think that automakers are so high-tech today, but the engineering have such a primitive lack as "not showing all the view i need in the side mirrors".
The reason Kia added this camera feature it's because, time after time, automakers have to correct drivers with their stupidity, and help them make less and less thinking and acting. (That's funny when thinking about that, they added DRL lights instead of just making the headlight to work all the time).

I have owned one of these myself for a year and a half now. Same color. Luxury trim. If ANYONE has the chance to buy one, go for it! Especially a 2019 model with lower mileage. Around 25k right now. It’s worth every penny. If you are anything like me, who appreciates a car that must satisfy luxury+power+rarity/uniqueness, it’s hard to get any better than this. The first year I’ve had this car I lived in Washington DC and I cannot express the amount of attention and compliments it has received. Fast forward to now and I’ve since moved to Europe (I’m in the military) and shipped the car with me, I expected it to blend in better amongst the European car enthusiasts but it turns heads EVERYWHERE I go. Going out on an evening/dusk drive when those stacked LED daytime running lights are lit up is such an experience. It has such a presence. I still can’t believe Kia doesn’t get credit for this build let alone they still don’t make it in the US.

The G70/Stinger sit on a pretty heavily modified version of that platform since they don't need room for a V8. After a couple hours, I was much happier with the quality of the dodge than the merc. I think people are learning that name isnt as important as or once was. Kia/Hyundai have changed that 10 years ago. Now their products rival that of almost any other brand, and then beat them on price, maintenance, and warranty. They may not resell for as much, but then, it didnt cost you as much, and you didn't pay as much to keep it on the road, so in the long run, you're still ahead. Then add to that their reliability scores, the lack of car issues, their amazing car warranty, and you have something truly special. Kia is changing the car industry. Because many of the categories (especially when comparing the weekend to the daily ones) are inherently contradictory. By making the car look better or go faster, you limit its cargo space and fuel economy. By producing limited amounts (driving up the “cool factor”) and using high- end materials, you lose out in reliability and value. This goes on and on; you can’t have it all. And I’m actually glad you can’t, or else there would be literally one car on the road haha.

@@ezrasmith8818 That's not fair to this vehicle though, or any vehicle in this class, even the lower classes. They should be scored only with vehicles in their class, otherwise the Doug Score really doesn't make any sense at all.

It's completely fair because a car that gets a 10/10 will also get a 1/10 in practicality. It's a better way to do it than considering every single car differently that way it's not an objective argument of "Welllllll but this car is less sporty by 1 point so it's not as bad...."

jarvis thomas sure it may be a good value in comparison. But the market for this kind of luxury saloon are usually people who do business and want to give their clients or business associates a premium impression. This is why people spend so much money on designer clothes to wear in formal occasions. If you want the best deal then just go get a practical and comfy suv for even better proce

+amari w. - I have to agree. I own an Acura and they get very boring over time. But I do have to say this car reminds me a lot of Genesis for some reason. Still nicely done on Kia's part. Can't say the same about the exterior though....sort of bland imo.

Well, the fact that it is a Kia is kinda a problem for people with this kind of money -- and I'm not talking about its badge. It means having to go to a Kia dealership -- a place where bottom of the barrel salespeople are used to dealing with buyers with awful credit. Generally speaking, it's not a pleasant place to buy a car -- never mind one that costs this much.

@@1MTEK You make a perfectly fair point there. One of the salespeople at our local Kia dealership is named Bill... and he insists on being called "Dollar Bill". That dealership is only just now starting to change for the better now that they realize Kia is moving upmarket. It'll take time.

I don't even have to scroll down to know people are going to be scoffing about this, but I unironically love how much work went into the animations in the gauge cluster. The mode switches are a delight. If I had one of these, I would switch modes occasionally just to watch the gauges transform.
