Man I thought this video was gonna be a shock absorbing arm. Being able to punch everything at max strength without feeling anything seems cool. This version makes it seem like the hand is the weak link. Can't wait to see if there's other versions of this.

My friends and I built an actual working winter soldier arm to scale, we used cables to make the arm retract, its able to lift 125lb comfortably, we used electric motors mounted that arent visible and battery packs under our clothing 😂 which I'm genuinely scared of, but it works like a charm and we show off with it alot

probably should put some plate on the outside of the hand to redistribute the forces over a larger area in the future

You guys are great at making things... could you create a prosthetic leg for hemipelvectomy sufferer's. They are missing even a part of their pelvis and normal prosthetics do not work. Maybe somehow anchor into the bone and that protrudes through the tissue. This then attaches to the bionic, robotic leg. Controls come from the spine, ie normal neural commands. This would take leg prosthetics to a whole new level.

you guys can work with that robotics company to get the automatic controlling sensor and modules that connect too the nerves, need a way to charge has too be strong but if practical titanium but cost would say aluminum or a mixed alloy. not to break things but to create a real winter soldier arm. the only difference is the metal of the winter soldiers arm.

If a jet pack can make you fly for 20 minutes, then a smaller version could help you jump higher for a few seconds at a time. If you strengthen just the parts of your body that require more durability, it'll be lighter and more efficient protection. Like upper fingers, knuckles, elbow, knees etc etc. Or whatever helps a person be a stronger version of themselves

It’s slash proof and stab resistant, but cutting with scissors is very different to slashing, as it’s a shear cut.

I know the hacksmith has been trough a lot since the making of this video not allowing him to do the test part, but since it's been such a long time, have you considered hiring a stunt actor for the testing video? (And in general for the "risky" parts of video making).
Also I would understand that it could be because the Hacksmith is the face of the company and so the youtube channel, but since there is a cosplay covering most of the face anyway, would it be that much of a problem?
