I'm sure it's an easy tweak to the core settings. Hopefully someone more educated in that than I can put a bow on it and finish it up. Got a whole mess of games I still need to test and play with to see if they will work.
Finally got terminator 2 judgement to work and not freeze anymore. After testing so many times. Can't wait to play this all the way. One of my favorites. Now I just need the light gun.
please don't take my criticism negatively but it looks to me the cursor is a little too floaty, don't get me wrong it's awesome that it works at all but I'm still holding onto hope the sinden lightgun guy gets his product to market because I'd gladly sacrifice the sensor bar for slightly smaller screen size and white trim border required for the sinden gun to work with pinpoint accuracy. That being said, this is very cool, and thank you for taking time to make the video.

Just got the At Games Ultimate cabinet finally and this is the best quality budget arcade machine out there especially for adding my on roms. Also still have my arcade1up cabinets bro. Keep bringing us arcade action and thank you bro!

I love to see light guns making a comeback! At this point, I think Aumtrack guns are a waste if money. $120-150 for Nintendo Wii level cursor gun tracking is a joke. The Sinden is just so good. I don't know if there is support for the Sinden on this system yet, but I hope so.
It's been 2 years and AFAIK the sinden still only works if atgames is otg to computer :(

@@cooltoy quarter munchers for sure. Another one I enjoyed and beat several times was Gunblade: Operation New York.
Yeah games that require shooting off the screen are a pain for most emulation. Surprised you couldn't get that to work on other devices. I've seen people use it with a pi, and a pc with emulators.
The only thing that sucks is now i have to hunt those games down and build the packages :)
Should this method also work with the Legends Gamer Pro?
I thought my Lethal Enforcer (on the AT Game Legends Gamer Pro) couldn't reload, but it does if I aim right in lower left the corner by the empty cylinder.
Couldn't get my legends puck to detect the gun and in mame it's to complicated and the gun only works half ass
Great video, Thanks Doug for sharing this. How much better are the Aimtrak guns compared to a wiimote in a gun case? is the sensor bar the same tech? does it aim/track better?
Zehrfox same kind of tech as wiimotes. Performance is solely based on type of sensors being used for either and placement of the sensor. I ordered some stuff that hopefully should arrive next week that should be able to further dial in the accuracy for the aimtrak guns
Could I just use a Nintendo Wii remote for these light gun games? I just picked up the atgames legends ultimate mini cab with coinopsx installed. Digging the cabinet! Thanks man!

Does the Adv. Config not work? I was thinking maybe you could go in there and set whatever the reload button was to one of the buttons perhaps?

I could not get my Aimtrac light gun to work with the Atgames Legend Ultimate. I configured the gun exactly the way PDubs set it up and calibrate on the ALU. However I could get the light gun to track in the game but I could not get the trigger to work on the light gun but if I press the "A" button I can get the gun to work. I have the 1.1 and I have 5.57 firmware. It seems that these light guns are made for PCs and they are problematic.
Can you connect another light gun for 2-player game play?
I was told yes by the AtGames dev team. I personally just have one gun so I haven't tested it myself.

Why do the games look so pixelated? Seems like there's no filter what so ever. 🤔.. mame on pc has various filters. Can you change them or no? I think at least some sort of smoothing filter would look good.

How do you capture video from the ALU display for your videos? I'm considering streaming gameplay from mine and curious about your method.
I use an El Gato HD60 capture device and an HDMI splitter to send the gameplay to my laptop to record

Hi, I’m having a problem when I set it up, the gun in the calibration menu show that it is perfect but it won’t move when I’m actually in a game. Do you know what the problem is and do you have any advice? Thanks

@@jamesmitchellmckinney3133 I got it to work a few weeks ago! I asked PDubs and it helped me, he said it was that it was the wrong rom or core, but because it is the mame 2003 core that is in this description that has updated light gun support, it is probably the rom. On the ultimarc website, in the manual, you can see the list of roms that work, and that might help, granted, it still has to work with mame 2003 not mame 2010 because mame 2010 does not work with light guns in my experience. I hope this helps!
