Baratza Encore VS Breville Smart Grinder Pro

I'm back and today I'm breaking down my experience with the Baratza Encore coffee grinder over the last week or so. Instead of going heavy into technical specs and comparing the two on paper, I'm delivering some commentary about my actual experience using the Encore and directly comparing it to the Breville Smart Grinder Pro. Having used the OXO Grinder for a stretch of almost two years for v60, chemex, siphon, and espresso it's a really hard to beat grinder at the price. Can't say there's a single thing enticing me about the Baratza. Maybe they should go back to the drawing board and refresh this boi. haha

They do have other grinders, and they refreshed the encore with the ESP model for espresso but they do need to come back and refresh the Encore, but they also have the Virtuoso model that pretty much does this, albeit at the $250 price point which, again, gets muddy when the Ode is then within striking distance.

you are not so smart as you think you are.

How can we help you on this channel when you’re setup negative on one item you’re comparing. You just need to read the baraza manual. It clearly says what to look for when installing the hopper properly.

You're probably right! However I was loaned this Encore for this video and it was provided to me without a manual. I probably could have looked online for one, but I did not. That said, I was just hoping for things to work a little more intuitively than it did.
